SWOS 2020: How to interpret trial player stats?

A week ago I came back to Sensi after more than twenty years, and am now playing SWOS 2020 on PC.

I've developed the habit of always testing the trial players so that I can see their value. For the majority of them the value will be £5k, and they look and feel like garbage.

However, just now I got a mid-fielder who feels perfectly solid. However, because it is a generated player I cannot check the SWOS team database for his stats.

Being a technical person, I popped open the career mode save file and checked what's written in the file. The guy's stats are: 14, 1, 3, 12, 1, 2, 1. As I understand it, every trial player has two stats in the 8–15 range, so gameplay-wise his stats are equal to 6, 1, 3, 4, 1, 2, 1.

Question 1: Am I interpreting this correctly?

Question 2: Can I expect this player's resale price to rise to £400k+? Currently the player is valued at only £130k, which is very low considering his stats.

Tech tree line regrind XP costs

This data is extracted from the current game version 15.7.

Aircraft carrier and submarine lines are not listed separately because all branches are within a couple thousand XP of each other.

Keep in mind that surface ship lines give 10,200 Research Points but aircraft carrier and submarine lines only 8,000 because they miss the odd tiers. In practice regrinding them has similar "efficiency" to the battleship lines.

Parked in a Helsinki downtown garage, however has Latvian plates.

It's about as long as a regular passenger car, however quite low. Only one rear wheel.
