Where are the deals?

Has anyone else noticed their grocery outlet become "regular market" vs bargain lately, or is it just mine? No single loaf of bread is under $4, the produce has been meh and I almost always find better pricing even at Trader Joe's. The beauty and health section used to be my favorite but lately it's barely a dollar or two off full price! I dont even buy meat there now as other grocers have better deals for fresher cuts. So dissapointed, GO used to save my family so much money but I think I done.

Hills I Will Die On

Movies that were panned either by critics or audiences that I love, guiltily or not. Open to roasts.

I took my 14 year old cat to the vet recently as she all but stopped eating entirely for days-would only have a bite or two of food before sauntering back to bed. They ran full labs and gave her fluids and some kind of anti nausea injection and sent us home with Mirtazapine. The mirtazapine worked almost immediately and she's back to her happy, energetic self. But I still am unsure about her labs.

The vet said her labs look REALLY good for her age. I expressed surprise cause a couple years earlier another vet commented that her kidneys were "borderline" for a problem. This vet said "oh yeah she might be just at stage 1 kidney disease but we don't really treat that anyway so we'lljust watch it". I asked if we should change her diet and she said nah not at this time. I just think it's odd to not have any advice on preventing the progression of kidney issues? Both vets just kind of shrugged it off, is that normal? I'd rather be proactive than wait until my cat is suffering to support her kidneys.
