kind off started to fall off around late Feb, I genuinely though we could’ve got some kind of European football, especially after we brought in Harrison Armstrong from championship side Everton for 43 million (10 mill cheaper than I could have got him) but think 10th is a solid effort for our first season, did pretty average in cup comps . , I’ve just brought in Zion Suzuki for the uocoming season and have my eye on Paraguayan CAM Osmar Gimenez and Dutch CB Blokzijl from Nantes.

had It on competitive for a long time and I recently started a career mode with Tranmere rovers and lost every game (battered in most) until I switched from competitive to Authentic, yeah matches are slower but the ai makes more mistakes and it just feels like a genuine league 2 season now, went 8 unbeaten after switching to authentic, before losing 3 in a row 😂 this mode feels way more fun to me though.

the online modes are okay but i mainly buy the game every year for the career mode aspect alone. I’m just sat here thinking to myself, Tranmere get relegated pretty much every season, but to where? I think if there was a national league/ national league N/S element then it would make the game so much more rewarding to play, imagine taking Hereford or Gateshead to the champions league. not just the English leagues though I think it’s a shame Scotland only has 1 league on the game, the lack of Balkan leagues etc… I know EA do add more leagues from time to time so hopefully one day we get the national league at least.

jaidon Anthony currently has 6 goals this season, 3 of them came against us when he played for Burnley and scored a hat-trick against us in the last 10 mins of the game back in August In a 3-0 loss.

I signed koumas from Marseille when he was 72 rated and He was a standout player last season as we gained promotion to the premier league via the playoffs and reached the fa cup semi final. He scored 16 goals and got 7 assists, not heard much about mikey Moore but he looks like some player but I hardly ever play with wingers and some wingers can’t play wide midfield so it might ruin his potential. might stick with koumas tbh he’s still got lots of potential.
Halliwell FC used to play their football at the Bennett’s (close to Bennett’s lane/Holy Harbour street) and was professional for much of their existence. The AI on this game Is absolutely broken, every game seems like it has to be a cup final where you’re fighting for your life, some games just end 0-0 you know? FFS 🤬the ai has to score first every game or come back dramatically and win even when your playing teams like tranmere rovers in the cup. The game will specifically injure your most important player until the exact date the season ends with the 50\50 clash bullshit, i adjusted the sliders before the career mode then instantly adjusted them back to normal and I was getting results then all of a sudden after about 5/6 games it was back to the same scripted bullshit, what’s the point in making a game so unenjoyable that you actually want to uninstall it off your console? I really don’t mind losing just like I did with every other fifa but when it’s the same scripted shit every single time then I just honestly don’t see the point.
