[pf2e][online][saturday] 4 people looking for a game

Hi there! I am forming a Pathfinder 2e party for a custom campaign, and I need a GM as well as another player. I currently have 5 other players in my party, counting myself. I am looking for a game where the story is taken seriously, but the players still have a great deal of freedom and choice, and where there are meaningful consequences for their actions on the setting. However, this doesn’t stop me from wanting loads of battles and tactical gameplay. homebrew worlds are preferred, and I do not mind if it is new or veteran players/GMs. Preferences:

homebrew campaign

preferred Serious atmosphere, yet allows for character fun too Combat mixed with story and role-playing

Help, me help a dm

So im a build nerd and we’re playing abandoned vaults. Great! and the dm what’s to keep it simple, Great! But there’s a problem we’ve run into, you see I’m playing ranged Magus with a gun slinger dedication. Seems simple? However, in the session started I just started annihilating everything like everything
Granted, they were goblins but like the boss of the fight for session 0 had no change for context he 1.had cover 2. Was quite a distance away. 3. And didn’t even take a turn. So by the time the barbarian used up his entire move along side of the rogue after killing all his minions on the previous turns I just use phase bolt and my weapon to just annihilate them (27 damage on normal hit). Once again goblin. should be squishy, but I’m basically artillery canon (harmona gun) with an 19 AC (which is nothing to say about the AC just that unless there’s gonna be range units that have pretty good range I’m gonna stay spick & spam)

Anyways, we are wondering ways to balance, while not deviating too far from what we originally designed. Did the enemies be stronger? Should I pick a different weapon? just general things I want to bring up during the conversation. I just wanna make it easier at the table for something that was meant to be a simple build turning out way too complex

More context about my build
Basically you round one im casting runic weapon on my gun then striking next round do whatever then spellstrike (which is how I got a 27, 2D10 + 3d4 + 2)
Next round shooting star and next round spellstrike then repeat

Also, later on I was going to take munitions crafter for magical ammo but I feel kind of discouraged to do it

Hello there 3 years deep and still going!

Hello y’all, I’m surprised finding this this late
I was initially 16 when I got my schizophrenia now I am 19

So this has been my journey so far!
Month one: honestly can’t remember much, when I go into psychosis, I kind of forget everything. it’s like a haze, like having a high fever. Never understanding what happened. Luckily I was semi lucid enough to know my family so no one got hurt then about end of month when I was mostly lucid and told my parents about the voice in my head how everything they said warped the very universe, how each thing they said became real in front of me, how they were me but not how they were “trying to wake me up”. So trying there best set up an appointment as soon as possible with a psychiatrist but before I can make it to the appointment I had a crash out. everything just became too much and I was back in the state of not knowing who I was. I got to the point where I didn’t know who anyone was. The best way I can describe it. Is like the feeling of being on the verge of a great idea or forget your keys and you can’t remember so your search everywhere and mysteriously they appear in front of you. except the key is your identity, everything! that’s pretty much all I remember, the rest was told to me secondhand. And it was not pretty to say the least. a lot of shouting.

Month two: finally got my first appointment and getting prescribed something. it helped kinda, with my now psychiatrist we went through a lot of different stuff to help me. But we didn’t find something until month 5 or 7 but it kept me sane and that was good enough for the time

Month seven: by this time we’ve identified my type of schizophrenia and got me on my medication a one monthly shot and a daily dose. At this point, I’m feeling great! My symptoms while still there were drastically lessened! The once reality warping voices in my head, just became characters not like a storybook but rather reflections gross imitations of things around me, at the worst they just are background noise barely audible. at least barely something in the corner of my eye that I just can’t catch

Now after that I can consider myself doing pretty well went back to “normal” life, graduated high school and now going to try to get into college! :)

I’m starting up a new campaign as an asmir wild magic barb (with a custom D100 table), since we’re starting out at level four we’re getting a custom uncommon magic item of our choice.
Some rules: all uncommon items are +1, I’m were using ymba’s ultra greathammer (at the cost that I have disadvantage on dex saves/checks no matter what)

P.S: whenever my character rages he just has a minor nervous breakdown and into a state of fear
So here’s what I have

Mother‘s love

This +1 ultra greathammer was given to protect her most fearful son, to protect him and allies

idea one: gives temp HP equal to five times my lvl or something and then something else
Idea two: when an enemy is dropped to a zero hit points attack, nearby enemy at advantage
Idea three: some form of ranged attack like I slammed the ground send everything in a line will take damage equal to half my normal roll without modifiers

Path 1: Dual Wielding
dual scimitar and short sword. Use Divine Favor and multiple attacks to stack damage. Swap Booming Blade for Fire bolt.

Path 2: Great Weapon Fighting
Stats adjust slightly: STR 14, DEX 14, CON 14 or 16 CHA 14 or 16 split. Playstyle:try to get half plate or beast plate, Shield and long sword with booming blade and smite as much as possible

Path 3: Defensive Build
Sword + shield or dual scimitars both work. Stack defensive buffs quickly (Shield, Blur, Mirror Image, Shield of Faith). You become extremely hard to kill while still outputting respectable smite damage

Hey there! We're a group of three people looking for a Pathfinder 2e campaign to join. We've got a good mix of experience levels and are excited to dive into a new adventure together.
Our Group:
Player 1 (New to PF2e): Experienced with TTRPGs (D&D) but brand new to Pathfinder 2e! Familiar with the general flow of tabletop gaming and roleplay, just needs to learn the PF2e specific systems and mechanics. Eager to explore what makes this system unique.
Player 2 (Intermediate aka me): Some TTRPG experience under my belt, familiar with the basics of PF2e mechanics, character creation, and general gameplay flow. Still learning the deeper systems but I’m comfortable with core rules and ready to grow.
Player 3 (Experienced): Veteran PF2e player who knows the system well
