What’s one team from this past season that you think was better than their tournament result?

Every year there’s at least one team that feels like they underachieved in March.

Whether it’s:

A tough matchup early

A cold shooting night

Or just one bad stretch

There are teams that probably could’ve gone much further.

Which team from this past season do you think was actually stronger than their tournament run showed?

Was the territory system actually better for building stars?

The more I learn about the old territory days, the more I wonder if that system had advantages we don’t really talk about anymore.

Wrestlers could:

Develop their character in smaller regions

Adjust based on crowd reactions

Build reputation gradually before hitting national TV

Compare that to today, where someone debuts on a big stage almost immediately.

Do you think the territory system created more well-rounded performers, or is that just nostalgia talking?

Has Pep Guardiola’s system with Manchester City made knockout football harder for them?

This might sound strange because Manchester City dominate most games, but I’ve been wondering if that same control becomes a weakness in knockout matches.

Under Pep Guardiola:

City often control possession completely

They minimize chaos and transitions

Everything feels very “managed”

But in the Champions League, knockout games sometimes turn on:

One mistake

One counterattack

One moment of unpredictability

Do you think City’s style actually reduces their ability to survive those chaotic moments compared to teams like Madrid?

Or is that just a narrative that ignores how dominant they’ve been overall?

If you remove team success entirely, how high does Charles Barkley rank all-time?

I’ve been trying to separate individual impact from team success, and Charles Barkley is one of the hardest players to evaluate because of it.

On one hand:

Extremely efficient scorer for his size

Elite rebounder despite being undersized

Offensive engine in multiple systems

On the other:

No championships

Defensive inconsistencies depending on the year

If you ignore rings completely and just look at peak + impact, where does Barkley realistically land?

Top 20? Top 15? Or does the lack of postseason success still matter even in that kind of evaluation?
