Interested in media/marketing for a TCG startup?

Hello Everyone,

My name is Omar. Over the past 6 months, I have been building a new platform for TCG collectors of all levels (new to expert). It is an intelligence platform for collectors. After months of research into what is missing in TCG apps, I believe I have found the best possible solution.

What this means for you: I am looking for someone within the TCG space who either works in or wants to work in the media and marketing side of TCG. You can apply your expertise to a startup that creates real impact in the TCG industry and grows in a rapidly expanding market.

If you're interested in joining as a Pokémon collector, let me know and I can send you more details about the startup.

The product is amazing. It just does not have the eyes that it deserves right now.

How do you actually find the right people to network with?

Hey guys!

During the residential week with fellow Online MBA cohort at USC this past week, the core concept of networking become more evident than ever to me. I'm heavily thinking of exploring an older idea around professional networking, mentorship, and connecting MBA students with alumni/industry leaders, but I'm very intentionally not building anything yet. Before I invest any time into it, I want to figure out whether there's actually a problem here that students care about.

I put together a 3–5 minute anonymous survey to understand how we currently network, what's frustrating about it, and a few other things. If you have a few minutes, I'd really appreciate you taking it. Honest feedback is much more valuable to me than positive feedback. 😂

The perfect TCG platform & app. What features does it have?

I built a mobile app that is designed to be an all-in-one app for TCG. Everything from AI grading to portfolio tracking. I have always been curious about something, What apps or features would you want in the perfect all in one platform for everything TCG. I am so curious to learn about what you want and dont want in your perfect application. No wrong answers. The "I never use X" answers are honestly the most useful ones for me. Go crazy and if it is something that we see a need for, it might even show up in our next update. - Omar J. Founder of ReverseHolo.

Got sick of using 4 different apps to manage my collection, so I spent 3 months building one. Looking for honest feedback (good and brutal).

Hey everyone. I'm Omar. I am a software engineer, 9 years professionally, and a Pokémon collector for about 4.

Like a lot of you, I ended up juggling four different apps to manage my collection: one for values, one for grading questions, one for set tracking, a spreadsheet for everything else. I got tired of it and figured I could build something that did it all in one place. Three months later, that's ReverseHolo.

What it does right now:

- AI grade prediction (predicts across PSA, BGS, CGC, and TAG before you submit)

- Centering tool

- Portfolio tracker with live market values

- Master set tracker

- Grading submission tracker

- Watchlist

- Regrade calculator

I've been getting solid feedback from early users, and honestly every piece of feedback, especially the critical stuff, has made it noticeably better. There's a major update coming in October and I want to shape it around what actual collectors and investors need, not just what I think they need.

That's really why I'm posting here. This sub understands the investment and data side of the hobby better than most, so your feedback is exactly the kind I want, including the "this part is bad and here's why" kind.

If you want to try it: sign up with the code REDDIT1 and you'll get a month of Pro free. No catch, I just want people from this community actually using it and telling me what's missing.

Happy to answer any questions in the comments, and genuinely — tell me what's wrong with it. That's more useful to me than the nice stuff.

Trying to find a business or person that can repair a slightly damaged card. Any sugestions

I have this sunbreon that I pulled. I noticed that there are two scratches on it and I have seen that there are companies and people who repaired cards and do things like remove scratches. I am not grading this card but I just wanted to fix the card for my private collection. Does anyone know a really good and reliable person or business that can repair cards by removing the scratches? I just done know where to do and who to trust with this card right now. All advices or recommendations are appreciated.
