Hind legs aren’t able to support the weight on an American bully.

Dogs hind leg joints. What do I do?

He’s 5. American bully. Neutered. Nearly 40 kgs.
He has trouble in his hind legs. Started with a limp in the left - did the X-rays and examinations, doctors said he’s too heavy for his legs. Make him lose weight. Changed his diet from rice chicken and vegetables to quinoa with chicken vegetables and chicken and chicken soup at night. Two meals a day. Very few treats. Salmon oil added. Glucosamine. We often give him mutton liver, shrimp etc instead of chicken.

Gets ok for a few months.
Until he now starts complaining about the right leg. He seems to fall asleep when I massage the joints with some pain balm for dogs and provide heat compression. He struggles to use his hind legs to push his weight up when he wants to get up. So he’s using his fore legs more.

Where I’m from (India) vets don’t necessarily understand bullies as I’ve taken him for multiple consultations - it’s not an ACL tear, it’s not anything to do with his bones. I can’t seem to get an MRI done unless the vets prescribe me one. And I don’t want to give carprofen to my dog everytime he’s limping. My heart breaks to see him try use his hind legs less and less.

But what can I do to support both his joints and weight loss?

Which is the best Indian credit card for me? I’m 65 LPA, foreign travel, want to get upgrades

Reward preference and feature preference: For me the most important things are less to no forex markup fee on international transactions and best conversion to airlines so I can upgrade from PE to business. In India, I’d love to get good discounts on BMS and other shopping websites.

Just small mercies. Which card is the best?

Age: 32

Cibil: 750

I think I spend at least 1-1.5 lakhs a month on credit card for various expenses.

Spend categories: groceries, eating out, shopping, Zomato, Blinkit, Amazon

What colour curtains and rug should I put in this room?

I have two wardrobes to the left of the bed in the same brown colour. So three in total. There are windows behind the curtains. And the office chair you see- there’s a window in front of that too. I’ve kept a desk there. In case all this matters.

I’ve been thinking about getting a round rug to just keep in front of the settee. Would that work better or should I keep a rectangle one that covers most of the floor area? I have dogs so for ease of cleaning I want to get the round one. But what’s the correct placement for it?

And finally with all the wardrobe colours, and furniture in two browns, bed slightly taupe grey. I am not sure what should be the colour scheme of the curtains and rug should be. The painting was more coherent with my previous white and blue curtains. But I need blackout ones in the summer.

Any tips are welcome please 🙏

Key things

  1. I have flagged this to the boss and to the direct report multiple times. The DR just doesn’t have any market context and has not attempted to make any changes or take actions towards getting to know the market more.
  2. Now do I protect them? Or agree with the feedback? Say I have had multiple conversations with the DR on this, including yesterday.
  3. Should I mention PIP now?

I don’t want to agree because this report has no intellectual curiosity to know the market they’re working in better.
