Absolutely wild find, thought it was gonna be a Japanese import, but nope it came from Tanzania, I don’t think it even sold in Japan. They were built in Indonesia and Malaysia. The Toyota Rush is a rebadged version of the third gen Daihatsu Terios. This one was sold new in Tanzania judging by the Toyota Tanzania LTD sticker, and has all its badges held in by extra rivets, something I believe they commonly do in many African countries to stop them being stolen, also only noticed in the photos that the windows have its Tanzanian plate number etched into the glass.

Crazy that I found this car by accident.

First registered in 2020, imported in July 2025.

Buick Enclave: first registered in January 2009, imported in April 2026. I don’t know why somebody bothered to import a 17 year Buick Enclave to the UK.

Dodge Dakota: first registered in January 2000, imported in October 2004

Dodge RAM: first registered in July 2004.

Suzuki Jimny: first registered in September 2025, imported in May 2026.

Has been sitting in the same spot since atleast 2023, and has been on the property since 2012, so probably hasn’t been back to France in like 15 years.

Eagle was a brand created by Chrysler corporations after purchas of AMC in 1988, it lasted until 1998. The Eagle talon was part of Chrysler and Mitsubishi joint venture, it was also sold a the first gen Mitsubishi eclipse and Plymouth Laser.

This one was made in 1991 and imported into UK in December 1998.

Good chance this one is the only one in the country.

First time getting a clear photo of one, every other time i either missed it completely or it was blocked or the photo came out blurry.

Spotted today (6 May 2026), not the greatest photo unfortunately but the best I could get with cars blocking it when it was stopped closer.

The orange side markers and the sticker from Auburn university in Alabama on the rear window makes me think this is US specs
