Anyone found a reliable way of keeping Roborock off the internet?
Yes, I know that some (lot) of people may not care at all, but I don't like the idea of having a camera going around my home spoofing data who knows to where. Yes, I trust Roborock in a way that I believe that they don't care about my data, but I don't trust that there can be a breach, etc. so as a zero trust that I have always entitled my home to (regarding network), I'm having such a hard time with my Roborock Saros 10 because the device basically become unusable without internet, it doesn't even trigger/run the routines at all.
I hve an old Roborock which I rooted with Valetudo but my Saros 10 doesn't support it at all and even though it supports Matter (which should work without internet) it doesn't work for my Homekit automations — it's like Roborock "enforces" you to have internet for it to start cleaning.
So far, what I've been doing is setting up a firewall rule tha allows Saros 10 to have internet ONLY for 1 minute or so before the scheduled cleaning time and then turning off again. It works fine but this is the closest I got to get rid of internet (partially).
I'm certain that I'm not the only one around that wants its bot to run locally only, so I'm looking for alternatives, if any.
