Has anyone tried sealing the gap from the waste bin of their M1 to prevent any further odors from seaping out? I was thinking about getting one of those silicone weather seal rolls and trying it out
reddit.comAdalah Al Sahaba
Assalamualaikum
I am not Shia, but l am trying to understand how mainstream Sunni theology balances the concept of 'Adalah al-Sahaba (the position that all companions are upright and saved from hellfire) with the specific Hadith regarding the martyrdom of Ammar ibn Yasir. The Prophet explicitly stated: "The killer of Ammar and the one who plunders his belongings will be in the Hellfire." (Authenticated by Al-Albani). However, historical records show that the man who killed him, Abu al-Ghadiyah, was a recognized Sahabi who participated in the Pledge of Ridwan, about whom the Prophet said: "No one who pledged allegiance under the tree will enter the Hellfire." (Sahih Muslim). Since the text explicitly states that the killer is in the fire, how do Sunni scholars harmonize these two textually absolute promises? How does a companion committing an act with such a definitive warning affect the general rule that all Sahaba are viewed as pious and protected from the Fire? would appreciate the classical Sunni explanations on how these texts interact.
BarakAllahu Feekum.
No more clay
So after months of trying various brands of clay clumping litter, I've come to the conclusion that the issue isn't the brand, but probably the type of litter I'm using. I can't stand the stuffy mineral odor left behind by these clay clumping litters (even when there's no poop or urine). So I've decided to try a new type of litter. Just wondering what people have tried. I know options are limited with the neakasa M1 (pellets, silica, etc.) Curious to see what y'all have used outside of clay litters.
Litter recommendations
I'm looking to upgrade to a new good quality clay clumping litter. I've been using the Boxie Pro litter and although it's not bad, I haven't been satisfied with the tracking/dust and odor. Many people have recommended Dr. Elseys Ultra, others have swore by Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal, others prefer Fresh Step. Once again I find myself suffering from the paradox of choice. Ultimately best for odor and tracking control.
Odor problems and flies
So I've been using the Boxie Cat litter as it's been highly recommended, but for some reason, I can't control the odor. I've tried using arm and hammer, changing out the waste bin more frequently, wiping down the machine with disinfectant, but the odor persists. My cat is using the litter box 5 or 6 times a day sometimes, but not sure how much is poo vs pee. Anyway, recently I've noticed more house flies buzzing around also. Should I change the litter? Does neakasa offer a cover for the litterbox? I'm desperate and contemplating going back to a standard litter box
