How do you know if a stray is starving or thirsty?

There’s a cat that always hides in my garbage cans (they’re just for show they’re always empty) and it’s summer so I don’t know if I should bring her water. She may also not be a stray but an outdoor cat, but she loves hiding in that same spot every day.

Anyways I have basic sensitivity so it’s occurred to me to feed it or at least offer water but I don’t want a cat lol. But the way things look I feel like that cat is comfortable enough there to bring her litter there if she ever gets pregnant…

What would you do? Feed it? Provide water? Shoo it away?

Why is the game downloading so slow for me?

It’s literally MB… this is 6 minutes on WiFi. It takes 2 seconds when I turn on cellular data. My WiFi has 0 issues and I have good WiFi. But for this game and this game only this updates do not download quickly on WiFi. Any insight?

Anyone else having issues on console or other devices?

I can’t seem to open my map or the start menu. I teleport, kill something, and I have to start the game over because I can’t open the menu “Cannot use at this time”. Not sure what the exact cause is.

“Well that’s going to lower the resale value!”

I personally don’t care if me getting rid of my bathtub and getting a walk in shower will lower my resale value. I don’t care if paving my back yard will lower my resale value. I don’t care if installing a wacky wavy inflatable arm flailing tubeman will lower my resale value… it’s my house. I will probably never sell it.

People needlessly asking that you add a qualifier to your opinions.

“Pancakes are delicious!”

“You mean ‘to you’ they are delicious.”

Yes. It’s my opinion. Food preferences are already subjective. Do I really need to explicitly remind you that I’m speaking for myself?

I’m not the authority on breakfast desserts here. I don’t claim to be. Do I need to add a disclaimer every time I go to iHop that I do not think pancakes are better than waffles?

“I have a question?”

“Hey guys! I have a question. If someone can help me out that would be great. This seems like the right place to ask so if it’s not just let me know. But I think it is the right place to ask this… anyways here’s the question… but before I ask just keep in mind I don’t know the answer ok?”

There’s a post title. Just ask the question. Any additional context? Post it at the top of the body and keep it short. Context for your context? Go back to your first paragraph and put tldr, then add your unnecessary gibberish at the end of the post.

Breaking up with someone is wayyy worse than being broken up with.

Being broken up with sucks. You have someone that you care for and want to be with, are attracted to, and god forbid you think you’re going to be proposed to…

Sometimes it’s very clear something isn’t working out, sometimes you get the ick, and sometimes you have a conversation that reveals a deal breaker.

It’s totally valid to not want to continue a relationship if it’s not what you’re looking for. But no matter how kind you are or how gently you go about it, you’re the bad guy. Sometimes they want to start a fight, or beg you to keep trying, or need time to think if the break up is right for them…

Like no. This is happening. It doesn’t mean you’re a bad person but I don’t want to waste either of our time.

Man NM is really tired of us hoarding keys

Usual quest is “use up cube keys” which also works if you bundle them up. But they’re like “nah we need you to spend at least 4 days worth of keys”.

“Draw a single line to make the math problem correct…”

Followed by 10 kids making weird ass decisions that don’t even make sense and looking up at the teacher like “is this right?”

1 + 1 = 20

First student: 11 + 1 = 20
👀

Second student: 1 + 1 = 201
👀

Third student: 1 + 11 = 20

“Wait til the end to see what happens”

Bonus points: followed by 2 minutes of posing/ facial reactions/ slow motion stepping…

Like do you not get the ad dollars if we don’t watch the whole thing or something?

There are instances where precision is important so I understand that I might need to specify, but I feel like it shouldn’t be necessary.

If a grab a couple of something I’m grabbing **TWO** of them. But it can usually be followed up by someone who doesn’t understand and asks specifically how many.

I know this is 2026, but a couple is *still* just two. I didn’t make the rules, I didn’t invent that word. I honestly don’t know where I learned to say a couple instead of just two, but I do. I am both peeved at myself and peeved at having to explain myself.
