Hi Everyone,

My brother was a student in Singapore for the last FY. Specifically, he was in Singapore from July-24 to December-25. He started earning internship stipend from April-25 till Nov-25, and finally came back to India in Dec-25, making his total stay in India for FY 25-26 less than 182 days.

Apart from internship income, he had no nother income in FY25-26, and just recently got a job in Apr-26.

His total internship income was around 14 lakhs, just below the expemption limit of SGD 20000. So He is not liable to pay tax in Singapore, and the same was confirmed by Singapore Tax Advisor , does he have to pay tax in India ?

Hey folks, bit of a stressful situation here and could really use some quick advice.

I have an important interview/document verification coming up and I need my original educational certificates couriered from Bhubaneswar to Bangalore — and they must arrive by Saturday evening. That's the hard deadline, no flexibility whatsoever.

What I'm looking for:

  • Fastest possible courier/delivery option between BBSR → Blr
  • Ideally with real-time tracking
  • Safe handling (these are original documents, can't afford damage or loss)

Options I'm already considering:

  • BlueDart overnight/express
  • DTDC express
  • Delhivery fast track
  • Someone travelling Bhubaneswar → Bangalore this week (preferred honestly)

The ask: If anyone is travelling from Bhubaneswar to Bangalore between Thursday and Saturday morning, please DM me — would really appreciate if you could carry a small envelope. Will compensate fairly.

Also if anyone has used express courier for urgent document delivery on this specific route, let me know how reliable it actually is in practice. The courier websites all promise 2-3 days but real experiences vary wildly.

This is for a government job document verification so the stakes are pretty high. Any help appreciated 🙏

Hey everyone!

So I recently got an interview call for the Contractual Data Scientist position at RBI's Department of Information Technology (DIT) and honestly didn't expect to make it this far. Pretty excited but also nervous.

A couple of things I wanted to ask the community:

1. What kind of questions can I expect? Is it mostly technical (ML, stats, Python/R, SQL) or do they also test domain knowledge of banking/finance? Any past experience with RBI technical interviews would be super helpful. I'm guessing it could cover:

  • Machine learning algorithms
  • Statistical modelling
  • Data wrangling / SQL
  • Maybe some NLP or time series given RBI's use cases?

2. How many candidates do they typically call for interview? The number of vacancies is just 2, which is quite small. Curious if anyone knows the typical interview-to-vacancy ratio for RBI contractual roles are we talking 5x, 10x, more?

Any insights from people who've appeared for similar RBI/government PSU data science interviews would be really appreciated. Even general tips on how formal/technical these panels tend to be would help.
