Accounting to HR?

Hi, I'm in my last semester of my accounting degree. I'm considering completing an 8-month postgraduate certificate in Human Resources at RMIT Melbourne. Do you think this would be worth doing? Would having both an accounting degree and a postgraduate HR certificate improve my employment prospects? Also, how saturated is the HR job market in Melbourne?

Was finding accounting jobs after graduation easier in the past compared to now?

In my third year of university, majoring in accounting, I've been struggling to find an internship for several months despite having strong grades. One of my professors asked the class, "Put your hand up if you have an internship lined up." Not a single person raised their hand. He said he wasn't really surprised, then added that back in his day when he was a student, every third-year accounting student already had an internship lined up but now its like the opposite. The way he said it made it sound so simple, but it's hard for me to believe how much things have changed.

Best quiet place for Interview

I have an Interview for a job through zoom right after my class so i have to do it somewhere in campus in building 80 or close by. Is there any where i could do this in building 80? I have thought about going to empty class but there is a risk that a class might show up mid interview or something. Also rebooking the interview is not an option.
