Do you ever feel like you’re falling behind in life?

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about how different everyone’s timelines are. It seems like some people my age already have their career figured out, own a home, have a family, or know exactly where they’re going, while others are still trying to figure things out.

I know comparing yourself to other people isn’t productive, but it can be difficult when it feels like everyone else is moving forward. Sometimes I wonder if I’m actually behind or if this is just a normal part of growing up.

For those of you who have felt this way, did you eventually find your direction? What helped you stop feeling like you were falling behind?

Why do people get offended when you don’t want to drink?

I don’t understand why saying “I don’t drink” sometimes turns into a whole conversation where people try to convince you to have one. If someone doesn’t want to drink, it seems like that should be the end of it. Why do people take it so personally?

My boyfriend's dad keeps flirting with me, what am I supposed to do?

I’ve noticed it a few times now and I’m starting to wonder if I’m imagining it. Nothing has actually happened, but some of the things he says to me are starting to make me uncomfortable. I don’t want to make things awkward with my boyfriend or his family.

I think phones have completely changed the way we socialize.

I’ve noticed that a lot of people will be hanging out together but everyone is on their own phone, even when there’s nothing particularly interesting happening on it. Maybe I’m in the minority, but I actually enjoy when everyone puts their phones away and just talks for a while. Do you think phones have made socializing better or worse?

CW:Pet Loss

I’m still struggling to believe that Lenny is gone. He was such a huge part of my life and somehow became part of my everyday routine without me even realizing it. I never thought I’d have to say goodbye to him this soon.

The house feels so empty without him. I miss hearing him around the house, seeing him curled up in his favorite spots, and even the little things he used to do that would annoy me sometimes. I’d give anything to have one more normal day with him.

Lenny gave me so many memories that I’ll always be grateful for. He wasn’t just a pet to me—he was family, and I’m going to miss him more than I can put into words. Rest peacefully, Lenny. You were so loved. ❤️

For anyone who has lost a cat they were really close to, how did you cope with the loss? I’d really appreciate any advice because I’m having a hard time figuring out how to move forward without him.
