Something like the Sitar, the Bansuri and the Sarangi has a rich history and legacy of being used in Indian scores... What other Indian Classical Instruments you think remain relatively unexplored as of today?

I know that this question has prevoously been asked here... But tbh I haven't got any satisfactory answers. I was forced into this line (had zero interest) and all this memorisation and clinicals are wearing me out... What are other paths except PG/INICET where the pay is decent enough?
