i've seen way too many guys fuck this up so here's a beginner guide for talking to girls in public

• don't stare at her for 10 minutes before you go up
• don't open with some cringy pickup line just say hi and introduce yourself
• if she has headphones on or is clearly busy leave her the fuck alone
• don't stand too close give her some space
• keep eye contact but don't stare like a psychopath
• smile and relax don't act like you're in a job interview
• ask normal questions don't interrogate her
• don't compliment her ass or body 30 seconds into the conversation
• if she's giving one word answers or looks uncomfortable take the hint and leave
• don't pressure her into giving you her number or instagram give her yours instead that way she has the choice to contact you if she's actually interested
• i keep a small business card with my socials and number on it and hand it to girls i like its low pressure and it avoids putting them on the spot
• if you're terrified of approaching people practice with women you're less intimidated by first the point is to get comfortable talking to strangers not to impress everyone on day one you don't jump straight into the premier league without practicing first
• don't expect the same approach to work on every girl people are different what works with one person might completely fall flat with someone else
• rejection is part of the game accept it like an adult say have a nice day and move on don't argue don't beg don't chase
