First grow! Wife finally gave me the green light. Looking for advice and hoping to document the whole grow.

Hey everyone! After years of wanting to try growing, my wife finally gave me the green light for my first grow.
I can’t do a grow tent yet, so I’m keeping it simple and growing outdoors.
I have three photoperiod plants:
Unicorn Poop - blue cup
Red Velvet - red cup
Ice Cream Cake - purple cup
Today (7/23) I transplanted all three from Solo cups into 5-gallon fabric pots filled with FoxFarm Ocean Forest. I only watered them with plain water - no nutrients yet.
I’m brand new to growing, so I’m trying to learn the right way instead of rushing into things. My current plan is to let them recover from the transplant, then start some LST once they’re growing again.
I’d really appreciate any tips, especially if you notice something I should fix early. I’m hoping to turn this into a grow journal and post weekly updates so I can learn from more experienced growers along the way.
Thanks in advance!

A couple questions:
Do they look healthy overall after transplant?
When would you start LST?
When would you start nutrients in FoxFarm Ocean Forest?
Anything you’d change if these were your plants?

Has anyone switched from oxycodone back to Suboxone because they just felt terrible?

I’m starting to wonder if oxycodone just isn’t agreeing with me anymore.
Lately I’ve been waking up every morning feeling awful. I keep yawning over and over, my nose gets a little runny, I dry heave, and I just feel sick. Some mornings I actually feel like I’m going to throw up. Even after taking my morning dose, I still don’t really feel like myself. It’s gotten to the point where I just feel “off” all day.
I’m honestly thinking about talking to my doctor about going back on Suboxone because I don’t want to keep feeling like this. Has anyone else gone through something similar? Did switching back help, or did you find out something else was causing it?
Just looking to hear other people’s experiences.

Anyone else feel like oxycodone slowly started making them feel worse instead of better?

I’ve been taking oxycodone for chronic pain, but over the last couple of weeks I feel like something has changed.
I’m prescribed 15 mg four times a day, but I usually end up taking 2–3 tablets in the morning because I wake up feeling so awful, then 4 tablets at night. I know that’s not how it’s prescribed, and I’m not looking for anyone to judge me—I just want to know if anyone has gone through something similar.
Every morning I wake up feeling terrible. I’m constantly yawning, my nose runs a little, I dry heave, and I feel nauseated. I just don’t feel like myself anymore. It’s hard to describe, but I feel “off” almost all day, and it’s really starting to affect my quality of life.
The weird part is that I’m starting to wonder if the medication that’s supposed to help me is actually making me feel worse. I was on Suboxone before, and honestly I remember feeling more normal on it than I do now. I’m seriously considering talking to my doctor about switching back, but I’ve heard so many mixed opinions about Suboxone that I’m hesitant.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? Did it end up being the oxycodone itself, withdrawal between doses, something completely unrelated, or did switching medications end up helping?
I’m not looking for dosing advice or medical advice—just hoping to hear from people who have been through something similar.

Really not feeling good anymore

I’ve been taking oxycodone every night for chronic back pain, and almost every single morning I wake up feeling awful. It’s not really nausea where I feel like I’m going to throw up—it’s more like constant gagging/dry heaving and just feeling sick for the first part of the morning.
Once I’ve been up for a while it usually gets better, but it’s becoming an every day thing and I’m starting to dread waking up.
Has anyone else experienced this? Did you figure out what was causing it? Was it the oxy itself, acid reflux, withdrawal between doses, or something else?
Just looking to hear other people’s experiences because it’s getting frustrating.

Looking for opinions from anyone who’s been through workers’ comp.

Looking for opinions from anyone who’s dealt with workers’ comp and conflicting medical opinions.

I injured my back at work on 1/6/23. Before the injury I had no back problems, never treated for my back, and was able to work full duty without any issues.

After the injury I went through physical therapy, chiropractic treatment, injections, multiple MRIs, and recently had an Intracept procedure that workers’ comp approved. The claim was disputed at one point but was later reopened and treatment continued.
I recently had another IME and the doctor stated that I’ve reached MMI and that no further treatment is necessary. Shortly after that, my weekly workers’ comp checks stopped.

The part that’s confusing to me is that my treating neurosurgeon completely disagrees. He reviewed my imaging, says I’m still symptomatic, is sending me for a discogram, and is discussing either an artificial disc replacement or fusion depending on the results. He also told me he has no issue documenting that I had no back issues before the work injury and that my symptoms started afterward.

I’m trying to understand how common it is for an IME doctor to say MMI while a treating neurosurgeon is still recommending additional testing and potentially major surgery. The lawyer is going after Workers Comp and said that he wouldn’t take my case if he didn’t think we would get something substantial.

Has anyone been through something similar? If so:
Did workers’ comp approve the additional testing or surgery?
Did your benefits get reinstated?
How much weight did the treating surgeon’s opinion carry compared to the IME?

Just looking for other people’s experiences while I wait to see how everything plays out.

Need help preparing!

I recently finished my CS degree and had my first real Software Engineer interview with an IT Director.
My background is actually in automotive engineering/testing, not software development, so this is a career transition for me.

The interview went pretty well overall. We talked about my capstone project, OOP, databases, debugging, APIs, and system design. At the end, I asked if he had any concerns about my background.

He said I came across as a good problem solver and someone who works through problems logically, but he was a little concerned about my programming capabilities. He also said that if I move on to the next in-person interview, he would be studying LeetCode if he were me because the next round is algorithm-focused.

Honestly, it was a bit of a reality check. I can talk about projects and software concepts, but if someone handed me a LeetCode problem today, I’d probably struggle.

For those already in SWE:

Is this a common experience for new grads?
How much LeetCode would you do before an entry-level technical interview?
What topics would you focus on first?

Trying to figure out if this is a normal gap or if I’m further behind than I realized.
