How do you guys like the mustard patina on it ?
Good morning or good night everyone, I got another knife to show you today, 80crv2 steel, wenge + white g10 liners and a clean black leather sheath with a metal clip and a dangler (my favorite lately)
As per usual there will be some links in the comments, have a good day or good night !
Here's a pair of pocket blades that I made, the kind of an edc knife that you carry when you need something cut but don't want to show off too much. They are 14 cm overall lenght and I call them "sardines".
All of them togheter on one picture. 80crv2 steel some wenge and some oak.
Do you like a simple slick shape such as this ?
They will be available on my website soon.
Made of stainless 14c28n steel, ironwood on the handles with glow in the dark micarta liners and a cool stand with matching pins kinda looks like a charging station.
I have recorded a lot of making proccess of them so I will post something on other platforms, I might explain what I do or just show the proccess with the music what do you think would be better ?

Meet "Leviathan's Hand" the heaviest knife I've made so far.
920 g for the knife alone, 1100 g with the sheath.
5 mm thick, 45 cm overall length and almost 10 cm at the widest point. Wenge handle with glow in the dark micarta liners with a leather sheath carried at an angle for easier draw.
My website is finally functional, so I'll leave the link to that and more in the comments. This beast and several other knives will be available in the next drop in a few days.
I took a nice picture while I was working on this handle, by the way have you guys noticed that your hands get more dirty while working with natural wood than with stabilized ?
I made them pretty much identical other than pins and finish so I decided to post them togheter. 80crv2 steel and natural birch handles, sheaths clean leather not complicated this time.
Well I've made some kitchen knives before for friends and family, they were not to my standards let's just say that but this one is finally enough for me to show, I've made this from 14C28N stainless steel, g10 handle with glow in the dark micarta liners and brass pins.
Yes I know that this "rock pattern" on the flat will be difficult to clean but I chose style over convenience this time.
An order I completed a while back, druid is the name of that knife. Other than the knife itself there are a couple of accessories, fire steel and bead with matching pins to the knife, leather sheath engraved so that it matches the theme and something I don't usually do but it was per request, an oak coaster to complete the set.
The steel is 80crv2 and handle material is something really hard for my bandsaw, stabilized hempwood.
What do you guys think ?
I'll leave some links in the comments for the curious.
All that's left is to oil them here's about 10 hours of hand stitching, I considered getting a machine for doing that but in my opinion machine stitching looks ugly, maybe I just saw people who used it wrong, what do you think ? Is it possible to get machine stitching to look as good as hand stitching?
Normally I post just my finished knives but today I decided to post with a little more text and unfinished, would be more but unforunately I was out of work for couple of days, high fever and all that, I managed to cut all elements for sheaths today, excluding the kitchen one, that one will just get a box, I have about 4 days to get it all done because I will be attending some festival that local bikers invited me to, so I need to have something to show, ofcourse there will be more as I have a lot more left after recent convent in Wrocław (Poland).
"Bilgerat" is what I named this little guy, 17 cm overall, it's technically a neck so the sheath has two ways to carry it, one like a necklace on leather string I attatched and the other is classic vertical belt carry.
Whitch way to carry do you guys prefer ?
I will leave some links to check in the comments.
Hi, me again to show off another piece I made
80crv2, stabilized padouk and glow in the dark micarta liners. Wolf pin and wolf engraving on the sheath.
I've grown to like that metal clip for my leather sheaths lately, how do you guys like those ?
Also I'll leave some links in the comments for the curious.
An order that I completed in december it was a knife + fire steel and separate leather sheaths for both, matching pins ofcourse and walnut handles.
A simple knife with stabilized karelian birch and a leather sheath I made a long while back about a year ago I just found two pictures on the phone while I was scrolling.
Another order from december, frog themed knife.
Client asked for a specific type of frog engraved on the sheath but I forgot the name.
What you all think ?
This shape was previously named "Kraken" but in no way the overall vibe fit that name for that build this time, so it got a new one.
5 mm thick 80crv2 about 30 cm long and again stabilized ambonya burl, I've got only two blocks left.
I'll drop some links in the comments for the curious.
