Note: None of other OCs are part of this AU. In this au only my ocs are in the story, which are Kutssu, Kirai (Demon Hagane), Utsukushii (Demon Hina), and Sabi (Demon Sabiha).

In this AU, all of my OCs are demons. I have already explained their individual backstories in previous posts, so here I’ll focus on how their lives play out in this alternate universe and what has changed.

Kutssu hated everyone except Kirai.

However, there was one thing he disliked about Kirai: he wasn’t completely consumed by hatred.

Kirai hated everything. People, the world, himself everything.

But there was one exception.

Utsukushii.

Kirai admired her beauty: her skin, her hair, her smile. To him, she was something beautiful in a world he otherwise despised.

Utsukushii noticed the way he looked at her.

She couldn’t see his entire face clearly, but she could see his eyes.

Those red eyes told her everything.

And she loved it.

She loved being looked at as though she were the most beautiful thing in existence. She loved being seen as gold.

But don’t mistaken.

This wasn’t love.

It wasn’t the kind of love Hagane and Hina had, the kind forged through trust, care and wishing best for each other.

No.

Kirai looked at Utsukushii as an object something beautiful he could possess and show off, something that made him feel something other than hatred.

And Utsukushii looked at Kirai as someone she could get a reaction from. Someone whose attention and praise made her feel beautiful.

They called it love.

They said it was love.

They were lying.

Kirai would describe Utsukushii to Kutssu as though she were an item he owned, constantly bragging about her beauty like she was something he could show off.

And utsukushii would describe kirai to Sabi almost like he was her little fan someone who existed to admire her and shower her with praise.

Then one day, everything changed.

The demons had destroyed an entire village.

They took their sweet time feeding on the humans.

The village was in ruins.

Flames consumed the buildings. Smoke filled the air. Bodies were scattered across the streets.

Eventually, Kirai had enough.

He decided it was time to leave.

But then he saw something.

A Demon Slayer had killed Utsukushii.

Her body lay on the ground, already beginning to crumble into dust.

And the Slayer was crying.

Kirai moved closer.

It was Mamoru.

Utsukushii’s own father.

He had killed his daughter.

The guilt of everything he had done to her had finally caught up with him.

Kirai picked up Utsukushii’s fading body and looked toward Mamoru.

Kirai spoke about her.

But every word he said only made mamoru angrier.

Because Kirai didn’t speak about Utsukushii as a person.

He didn’t speak about her as a demon.

He spoke about her like she was a toy.

Something beautiful he could possess.

Something he could brag about.

Something he could have fun with.

Mamoru, consumed by anger, tried to attack Kirai.

But Kirai was faster.

And stronger.

He struck Mamoru directly in the chest with his arm blade, injecting his demonic energy into him.

The energy spread through Mamoru’s body, burning him from the inside.

With that ended sukumori family.

Days passed by.

And After Utsukushii’s death, something inside Kirai changed.

He became even more hateful.

More violent.

More aggressive.

Without Utsukushii, he couldn’t feel anything else.

The one thing that had temporarily distracted him from his hatred was gone.

And all that remained was hate.

And when that hatred burned the hottest.

Kutssu poured gasoline onto the fire.

He reminded Kirai of what they were.

Lower Moons.

Weak.

Pathetic.

Just like they had been back in the factory.

Kutssu told him they were being looked down upon.

Then he offered Kirai a solution.

One way to escape their weakness.

One way to become something greater.

Become strong.

Become one.

This will be the first unholy weapon we will see in “blood-stained money” final chapter but not only one, There are two other unholy weapons with it own ability’s

(The chapter is still in development, it’s going slow)

1. He is Hina’s father, a swordsmith, retried iron hashira, Hagane’s teacher, and Mari’s grandfather.

2. He is 45 years old. He retired after his wife passed away so he could take care of his daughter, but he still teaches and forges weapons for the Demon Slayers.

3. He almost became an alcoholic, but he stopped after one incident. He yelled at little Hina and saw her crying. Realizing what he had done, he threw every bottle of alcohol he had out the window and immediately stopped drinking.

4. He dislikes Hagane very much, and he has many reasons for it. First, Hagane was dating Hina without Mamoru knowing about it. Second, Hagane abandoned his lessons after Kanae passed away. Third, Hagane uses very strange and untraditional weapons, especially his newer weapons. Finally, the entire village doesn’t trust Hagane, which only makes Mamoru more suspicious of him.

5. Mamoru was good friends with Shinjuro Rengoku, but he stopped talking to him after Shinjuro started drinking.

First of all, I want to say that u/Greedy-Deer9726 has given me their OC, Sabiha, so from now on, I’ll be using her in upcoming stories. But Hagane will always be my main priority.

Facts:

1)Hina and Sabiha first met through their fathers when they were little. Over time, they became somewhat like sisters.

2)They once threw a guy out of a window while they were trying to enjoy their meal because he wouldn’t stop talking to them and flirting.

3)Sabiha was always protective of Hina. When she learned that Hina was secretly dating Hagane, she didn’t like it. She was very suspicious of Hagane, mostly because of what she had heard from the Swordsmith Village and especially because of Hagane’s gear: an armor that boosts his strength, a sword and gauntlets that can use electricity, and his new shotgun?! Yeah… nope. She didn’t trust Hagane at all and always kept a close eye on him.

4)After everything happened and Mari was born, Sabiha was absolutely thrilled about it. She always comes to visit little Princess Mari and often helps look after the little girl.

Facts:

1. Chapter 4 and Chapter 9 have similar posters, but the big difference is that Kutsuu didn’t have the flaming flower. Instead, there was an empty space, which represents the lack of love and care he experienced. He is also missing one stage of his life. Hagane had three, but Kutsuu only had two because he never had the chance to truly understand and experience life.

2. In Chapter 7, Kutsuu killed a kid’s mom, but it wasn’t random. He killed the mother because she was protecting her child, and he was jealous because he never received that same kind of treatment as a kid.

3. In Chapter 8, we saw three different Breathing Styles, but Steel Breathing was the only one that didn’t have any special effects like the other styles.

4. Okay, this one is a silly fact and something funny I thought of. In chapter 9 we finally see the soldiers from steel breathing, but what are they doing when they aren’t fighting? They vanish yes but I think it would be more funny that they vanish into some room and are play cards and other board games to pass the time For next fight, They’re just chilling and waiting.

Today is a sad day, today legendary voice actor peter Cullen passed away.

While I know he had nothing to do with KNY, he was a huge inspiration for Hagane, and my hero.

Optimus Prime is my favorite character of all time. No other character even comes close to him, and the news of Peter Cullen’s death was devastating. The character himself isn’t gone, but the person who gave him his voice and, most importantly, his soul is.

His voice was something else. It was strong, yet gentle. As his brother Larry said, “Be strong enough to be gentle.” That idea became the foundation of Hagane, to be strong, but gentle at the same time.

To me he was a true hero.

“Till all are one.”

Before there was a demon,

A monster.

A being full of hate,

A Lower Moon,

There was only a child whom fate had shown no mercy.

Tetsu’s family was poor. Very poor.

They had many children, but with so many mouths to feed, they simply didn’t have enough money.

So they sold their child.

Tetsu.

Because he was never meant to be born. He was a mistake.

And so at age of five he was sold l for 1,100 yen to criminals, who forced him to work in a weapons factory alongside other children.

Every day was hell.

Every day was a fight to survive.

Eventually, it became difficult to decide whether waking up was a gift…

Or a curse that only meant another day of suffering.

For seven years, he worked there.

The adults often used tricks and false kindness, pretending to care about the children, only to betray them in the end.

Tetsu had a few companions, but it was hard to call them true friends.

When food was scarce, friendship meant nothing.

Hunger always came first.

Only Hagane stayed by his side.

They were like brothers.

They shared their food.

They shared their company.

And for a little while, Tetsu believed he wasn’t completely alone.

But even that came to an end.

One day…

Demons attacked.

They slaughtered everyone.

Children.

Adults.

Everyone.

No one was left alive.

Tetsu was lucky enough to escape.

But in the chaos, he became separated from Hagane and the other children.

He searched for them.

He called out for them.

But there was no answer.

So he kept walking.

Life afterward was no easier.

Some would say it became even worse.

He was 12 years old, on the streets.

He was often beaten for stealing food.

When someone adopted him, it was all the same.

One family made him work like a slave, telling the boy, “Your life belongs to us because we saved you.”

A few months later, he couldn’t take it anymore, so he ran away.

Then a second family came.

They took Tetsu in, and at first, it seemed nice.

The woman was kind…

But the man…

He had… drinking issues.

And one bad night, everything went wrong.

The woman was beaten to death.

And Tetsu saw everything.

And once again, he ran away.

Every family he was part of.

Every person he met.

Only showed cruelty, abuse, and hate.

Over time, Tetsu started to lose hope.

All of his life, he wanted a family, or at least to be saved.

He wasn’t asking for an angel.

But a kind human.

But even that was too much to ask for.

And Tetsu…

Accepted his fate.

As a soul failed by fate.

In his final moments, when the storm showed no mercy and the dark sky poured down rain…

He was freezing.

Waiting for the end.

Nor a human.

It gave him a devil.

A man in a suit and tie.

With false promises…

Muzan turned the boy into a demon.

The two of them finally saw each other.

A man and a demon.

A Hashira and a Lower Moon.

A steel forged by a flower and an iron forged by a devil.

Hagane: “Tetsu….”

Kutssu: “The boy is dead. He died in the storm, froze to death. Now it’s only me, Kutssu.”

Hagane: “But I don’t understand. Why would you work for him?! For Muzan?! Or try to kill the people trapped inside?!”

Kutssu: “Because there is no point. Look around. What has this world done for us? Only hurt us and beat us up. And you know why you feel pity for them? Because they are the ones suffering now! If you gave them any power! Any opportunity to hurt someone, they would take it! It’s human nature. Better to be a hunter than be prey!”

Hagane: “They’ve done nothing wrong! How do you know they would do the same?! Not everyone is a monster!”

Kutssu: “Oh, don’t be so optimistic! You say that because you were saved! Weren’t you?! But you can be saved again, truly, from that false belief. Look at yourself. Why were you here?”

Hagane: “What?… I am here to save the people.”

Kutssu: “No, no, no. You were here to kill him, but sadly, I took your kill. You were here to have revenge. I can offer you that again. Take revenge on everyone. Make everyone suffer like they made us suffer.”

Hagane: “What are you saying….”

Kutssu: “Become a demon. Stand by my side. This world has given you nothing but suffering and pain. Time to give the favor back.”

Hagane was shocked.

But some feeling was there…

Or a thought…

Maybe he was right…

The world gave him only pain…

……

……

…..

But…

Kanae gave him life…

Kanae gave him a family…

Kanae gave him a future…

Kanae gave him everything and a reason to fight.

And now he knew why he was here.

Hagane: “No…”

Kutssu: “Hagane!”

Hagane: “My answer is final.”

Kutssu looked disappointed.

Kutssu: “….The children in the factory… they were born to die… but you… you were raised to fall.”

And with that, he kicked Hagane with full force, sending him flying through the wall.

Kutssu was ready to go inside the building to finally kill off every person trapped inside. After all, they were meant for him.

But before he could…

He heard a sound.

He looked back and saw smoke.

And figures moving forward, following Hagane.

They didn’t have faces, but they were speaking and chanting one sentence.

“VAKH EN TAL”

Everything that was said was said by Kutssu, not King in Black. King in black took his name and his title, making you all hate the wrong person.

You cursed his name, while the true person you should have hated was someone else, Kutssu.

Why did I do this? Because this is a lesson to prepare you for the future.

All the Demon Slayers set their course for the factories. Their mission was simple: destroy the factories and free the innocent people trapped inside.

But they knew the Corps’ movements were expected.

The enemy was ready.

More demons. More armed men. All waiting to crush the Demon Slayers the moment they arrived.

Hagane and Kagero were riding in a pickup truck alongside several other Slayers.

Their plan was to ambush the guards, break through the defenses, and rush the main place where Gow was.

Kagero glanced at Hagane.

Hagane’s hands were shaking.

Kagero: “You alright, dude?”

Hagane snapped out of his thoughts.

Hagane: “Yeah. I’m fine.”

He gave Kagero a thumbs-up.

The sky was cloudy. A heavy storm was approaching.

Even the sky seemed to feel bad about everything.

Like something terrible was about to happen.

Soon enough, they reached the entrance gate.

Several guards stood at the gate.

The driver of the truck was a Demon Slayer. He was nervous, but desperately tried to act cool.

One of the guards stepped forward.

Guard: “What are you doing here?”

The Slayer swallowed.

Slayer: “Um… bringing… more… victims, sir.”

Inside the truck, Hagane, Kagero, and the other Slayers looked at each other.

They were very disappointed by the Slayer’s attempt to play it cool.

Slayer 1: “I said I should’ve driven. I wouldn’t have stuttered.”

Slayer 2: “Dude, your ass can’t even drive a car.”

Slayer 3: “Are we going to get out soon? I’m claustrophobic.”

Kagero looked at Hagane.

Kagero: “Dream team, huh?”

Hagane: “It’s better than working with Sanemi.”

Outside, the guard narrowed his eyes.

Guard: “I swear to God… Guys! Check the truck”

The Slayer panicked.

Slayer: “Why?! Why would you do that?!”

A guard moved toward the back of the truck and began opening the doors.

The doors swung open.

Inside stood two Hashiras and several Demon Slayers.

The guard froze.

Guards: “…Fuck.”

The fight began.

Demons immediately joined the battle.

Meanwhile, other teams of Slayers and Hashiras had begun their own assaults across the factories in Japan.

Fujiko moved fluently like koi in the pond cutting down guards.

Avian Breathing Tenth Form: Azure Feather Storm!

Tsubasa moved like a storm, cutting through guards and demons alike.

At the main place

Shadow Breathing, Second Form: Shadow Step!

Kagero vanished.

One moment, he was visible.

The next, he was nowhere to be seen.

He moved like a living shadow, appearing behind enemies before they even realized he was there, and they were dead.

But more armed men soon arrived to reinforce the battlefield.

Hagane looked toward the mountain.

Hagane: “Kagero! Take care of this part of the place! I’m going up the mountain!”

Kagero’s eyes widened.

Kagero: “Hagane, for fuck’s sake! No!”

But Hagane was already gone.

Kagero watched him disappear into the distance.

Kagero: “That fucking idiot!”

A huge house.

And inside it, someone was waiting.

Drinking his drink.

Next to him stood Lower Moon One, Kutsuu.

Silent.

Guards and demon stood before the massive gates.

The doors were forced open.

Hagane stood there.

He wasted no time.

He immediately launched his attack.

Steel Breathing, First Form: Reforged Advance!

Three powerful thrusts tore forward, creating shockwaves that blasted through anyone standing in his way.

Steel Breathing, Second Form: Inventor’s Pride!

Two electric whips shot from his metal gloves.

Hagane swung them wildly, shocking, cutting, and pulling demons and criminals toward him, leaving them with no room to escape.

Steel Breathing, Third Form: Born Weapon!

Electricity wrapped around Hagane’s arms.

He charged forward, ripping and tearing through everything in his path.

Only a few criminals and stronger demons remained standing.

Hagane raised his blade.

Steel Breathing, Fourth Form: New Era!

His blade became fully charged with red electricity.

He swung.

The attack tore through the larger demons as if they were nothing.

And finally—

Hagane moved toward Gow.

But Kutsuu suddenly activated his Blood Demon Art.

A blade formed in his hands.

He swung.

CLANG!

His blade collided with Hagane’s.

The impact released a violent explosion of demonic energy, sending Hagane flying backward.

Kutsuu looked at the dead criminals lying around him.

Kutsuu: “useless Fucking humans. Can’t do a job properly. But there won’t be rest in this life… nor the next one.”

Forged in Flames: No Rest for the Dead

Kutsuu slammed his hand into the ground.

Stone began spreading across the dead bodies.

One by one, the corpses rose.

Their bodies were covered in stone, transforming them into monstrous undead soldiers.

They stood again.

Working even in death.

Obeying Kutsuu from beyond the grave.

The undead stone monsters charged at Hagane.

They were stronger.

Harder.

And they didn’t fall easily.

With Kutsuu attacking alongside them, Hagane was overwhelmed.

He fell to his knees, held in place by the stone monsters.

Kutsuu walked toward him.

Kutsuu: “Show me who’s under that pathetic helmet.”

Kutsuu struck Hagane’s head with full force.

CRACK!

Hagane’s helmet flew off, a piece of it breaking away.

Kutsuu stared at his face.

His expression changed.

Kutsuu: “Hagane…”

Hagane couldn’t hear what he said.

Gow stepped closer.

He looked at Hagane with curiosity.

Gow: “So Hagane is your name? You know that means steel, right? So your name is Steel… and your title is Steel Hashira.”

He grinned.

Gow: “That’s fucking ironic.”

Hagane slowly raised his head.

Hagane: “And that comes from the guy who calls himself the God of War. Go fuck yourself.”

Gow raised an eyebrow.

Gow: “Wow. And you kiss your mother with that mouth? Oh, right. I forgot. The Demon Slayer Corps only employs orphans… or people with daddy or mommy issues.”

Hagane glared at him.

Gow: “Okay, okay. Let’s get into business.”

Gow crouched down slightly.

Gow: “I heard what you did in the warehouse. Impressive, I must say. But this isn’t duty, is it?”

He leaned closer.

Gow: “This is revenge, right? Am I right?”

Gow glanced toward Kutsuu, hoping for some confirmation.

Kutsuu said nothing.

He simply continued staring at Hagane.

Gow: “Okay, ignore him. I can tell. I often play poker, and I’m pretty good at reading people. So what is it? Do I owe you money? Child support?”

He suddenly looked concerned.

Gow: “God, please tell me you’re not Jessica’s boy!”

Hagane’s anger exploded.

Hagane: “I am the boy who escaped your fucking shithole factory after demons destroyed it seven years ago!”

His voice shook with rage.

Hagane: “You son of a bitch!”

Gow’s expression changed.

He looked relieved.

And confused.

Gow: “Seven years ago…?”

He thought for a moment.

Gow: “Ummmm…”

Nothing.

He didn’t remember.

Gow snapped his fingers.

Gow: “Give me a second!”

The silence was…

Sad.

Gow finally spoke.

Gow: “Oh, don’t look at me like that. I didn’t visit my own factories that much. How am I supposed to remember you?”

He shrugged.

Gow: “There were a lot of people there and stuff.”

Hagane was speechless.

The man he had hated for seven years…

Didn’t even know him.

To Gow, Hagane was nothing.

Just another forgotten worker.

All that anger.

All that hatred.

All those years of revenge.

For someone who never even remembered his name.

Gow looked toward Kutsuu.

Gow: “By the way, Kutsuu… how do you know his name?”

Kutsuu finally spoke.

Kutsuu: “I have a message from Lord Muzan.”

Gow blinked.

Gow: “Hm? At this time?”

He smiled sarcastically.

Gow: “Perfect.”

Kutsuu moved.

Instantly.

He grabbed Gow by the head.

Gow: “Hey! What are you doing?!”

Kutsuu’s grip tightened.

Kutsuu: “Lord Muzan does not need a partner… or a traitor. He isn’t a fool. He knew about your plan to kill him.”

Gow: “What?! What plan?! I don’t know what you’re talking about!”

Kutsuu stared at him.

Kutsuu: “Oh, please. Shut the fuck up. He knows about the secret resource. He knows about the Abyssal Blood.”

Gow’s eyes widened.

He realized.

He was fucked.

Gow: “No… no, no, no. Forgive me—”

CRUSH!

Kutsuu crushed his skull with his bare hand.

Electricity surged through Gow’s head.

His brain was fried instantly.

Kutsuu dropped his corpse.

Blood covered the floor.

Gow’s eye rolled away from his ruined body, while the remains of his burned brain were exposed, steam rising from the corpse.

Hagane stared in horror.

Hagane: “What the hell…?”

Kutsuu slowly turned toward him.

His voice became quieter.

Kutsuu: “So… you survived the fire too…”

Kutsuu reached for his helmet.

He removed it.

And dropped it to the ground.

Hagane’s eyes widened.

He stared at the face beneath the helmet.

Hagane: “…Tetsu?”

Chapter 0 — “Fate’s Pity”

We learn Hagane’s childhood and how he ended up working in a weapons factory at only four years old.

There, we meet his parents, his best friend Tetsu, and eventually Kanae.

After demons destroy the factory, Hagane is left alone. A year later, Kanae finds and saves him, becoming something every kid needs a mom.

Years later, Hagane is 18 and has become a Hashira.

We also meet Fujiko, Tsubasa, and Kagero.

Hagane discovers that criminals are working with demons, trading humans and supplying them with illegal substances.

Even worse, they’re are the same organization that forced Hagane into child labor.

We learn more about the criminals’ experiments.

They’re not only selling humans they’re experimenting on them and using modified demon blood to create something similar to a super soldier or weapons.

Hagane’s anger starts becoming more noticeable.

A QR code hidden in the chapter leads to files containing information about the victims.

Author’s Note: This is the first chapter with secrets and the first hint toward Unholy Weapons.

Side Chapter — “A Letter from Avian”

This chapter focuses on Tsubasa as she rescues people being held by the criminals.

Before one subject kills himself, he points towards the papers and warms her about something and then kill himself.

The paper reveal that more than 20 subjects have died and 50 more victims have been transported to different locations to be traded with demons.

We see more of Hagane and Kagero’s friendship and meet Kutsuu, Lower Moon One.

The biggest revelation is that Steel Breathing isn’t an established style yet.

The chapter ends with Hagane losing focus and failing to protect a child from getting his hand cut off.

Chapter 5 — “Deal with the Devil”

We finally meet Gow, the main villain behind the operation.

Gow makes a deal with Muzan, gaining control over the Lower Moons so they can be used to weaken the Demon Slayer Corps.
