Why did you believe a liar?

(Note: Read Chapter 8 before reading this.)

King in Black was never Tetsu, nor [redacted]. It was all a lie… but what did you expect from a liar?

Even now, he’s still laughing in the meme video. In the end, he was laughing because you all believed him and yelled at him, even though that wasn’t even his real face.

Everything that was said was said by Kutssu, not King in Black. King in black took his name and his title, making you all hate the wrong person.

You cursed his name, while the true person you should have hated was someone else, Kutssu.

Why did I do this? Because this is a lesson to prepare you for the future.

You have now seen how easily you can believe his lies. Don’t make the same mistake again.

Blood-stained money chapter 8: “not waiting for fate”

All the Demon Slayers set their course for the factories. Their mission was simple: destroy the factories and free the innocent people trapped inside.

But they knew the Corps’ movements were expected.

The enemy was ready.

More demons. More armed men. All waiting to crush the Demon Slayers the moment they arrived.

Hagane and Kagero were riding in a pickup truck alongside several other Slayers.

Their plan was to ambush the guards, break through the defenses, and rush the main place where Gow was.

Kagero glanced at Hagane.

Hagane’s hands were shaking.

Kagero: “You alright, dude?”

Hagane snapped out of his thoughts.

Hagane: “Yeah. I’m fine.”

He gave Kagero a thumbs-up.

The sky was cloudy. A heavy storm was approaching.

Even the sky seemed to feel bad about everything.

Like something terrible was about to happen.

Soon enough, they reached the entrance gate.

Several guards stood at the gate.

The driver of the truck was a Demon Slayer. He was nervous, but desperately tried to act cool.

One of the guards stepped forward.

Guard: “What are you doing here?”

The Slayer swallowed.

Slayer: “Um… bringing… more… victims, sir.”

Inside the truck, Hagane, Kagero, and the other Slayers looked at each other.

They were very disappointed by the Slayer’s attempt to play it cool.

Slayer 1: “I said I should’ve driven. I wouldn’t have stuttered.”

Slayer 2: “Dude, your ass can’t even drive a car.”

Slayer 3: “Are we going to get out soon? I’m claustrophobic.”

Kagero looked at Hagane.

Kagero: “Dream team, huh?”

Hagane: “It’s better than working with Sanemi.”

Outside, the guard narrowed his eyes.

Guard: “I swear to God… Guys! Check the truck”

The Slayer panicked.

Slayer: “Why?! Why would you do that?!”

A guard moved toward the back of the truck and began opening the doors.

The doors swung open.

Inside stood two Hashiras and several Demon Slayers.

The guard froze.

Guards: “…Fuck.”

The fight began.

Demons immediately joined the battle.

Meanwhile, other teams of Slayers and Hashiras had begun their own assaults across the factories in Japan.

Koi Breathing first form: Circling Koi Under the Waterlily

Fujiko moved fluently like koi in the pond cutting down guards.

Avian Breathing Tenth Form: Azure Feather Storm!

Tsubasa moved like a storm, cutting through guards and demons alike.

At the main place

Shadow Breathing, Second Form: Shadow Step!

Kagero vanished.

One moment, he was visible.

The next, he was nowhere to be seen.

He moved like a living shadow, appearing behind enemies before they even realized he was there, and they were dead.

But more armed men soon arrived to reinforce the battlefield.

Hagane looked toward the mountain.

Hagane: “Kagero! Take care of this part of the place! I’m going up the mountain!”

Kagero’s eyes widened.

Kagero: “Hagane, for fuck’s sake! No!”

But Hagane was already gone.

Kagero watched him disappear into the distance.

Kagero: “That fucking idiot!”

At the top of the mountain stood a house.

A huge house.

And inside it, someone was waiting.

Drinking his drink.

Gow.

Next to him stood Lower Moon One, Kutsuu.

Silent.

Waiting.

Guards and demon stood before the massive gates.

For several minutes, nothing happened.

Then—

The doors were forced open.

Hagane stood there.

He wasted no time.

He immediately launched his attack.

Steel Breathing, First Form: Reforged Advance!

Three powerful thrusts tore forward, creating shockwaves that blasted through anyone standing in his way.

Steel Breathing, Second Form: Inventor’s Pride!

Two electric whips shot from his metal gloves.

Hagane swung them wildly, shocking, cutting, and pulling demons and criminals toward him, leaving them with no room to escape.

Steel Breathing, Third Form: Born Weapon!

Electricity wrapped around Hagane’s arms.

He charged forward, ripping and tearing through everything in his path.

Only a few criminals and stronger demons remained standing.

Hagane raised his blade.

Steel Breathing, Fourth Form: New Era!

His blade became fully charged with red electricity.

He swung.

The attack tore through the larger demons as if they were nothing.

And finally—

Hagane moved toward Gow.

But Kutsuu suddenly activated his Blood Demon Art.

A blade formed in his hands.

He swung.

CLANG!

His blade collided with Hagane’s.

The impact released a violent explosion of demonic energy, sending Hagane flying backward.

Kutsuu looked at the dead criminals lying around him.

Kutsuu: “useless Fucking humans. Can’t do a job properly. But there won’t be rest in this life… nor the next one.”

Forged in Flames: No Rest for the Dead

Kutsuu slammed his hand into the ground.

Stone began spreading across the dead bodies.

One by one, the corpses rose.

Their bodies were covered in stone, transforming them into monstrous undead soldiers.

They stood again.

Working even in death.

Obeying Kutsuu from beyond the grave.

The undead stone monsters charged at Hagane.

They were stronger.

Harder.

And they didn’t fall easily.

With Kutsuu attacking alongside them, Hagane was overwhelmed.

He fell to his knees, held in place by the stone monsters.

Kutsuu walked toward him.

Kutsuu: “Show me who’s under that pathetic helmet.”

Kutsuu struck Hagane’s head with full force.

CRACK!

Hagane’s helmet flew off, a piece of it breaking away.

Kutsuu stared at his face.

His expression changed.

Kutsuu: “Hagane…”

Hagane couldn’t hear what he said.

Gow stepped closer.

He looked at Hagane with curiosity.

Gow: “So Hagane is your name? You know that means steel, right? So your name is Steel… and your title is Steel Hashira.”

He grinned.

Gow: “That’s fucking ironic.”

Hagane slowly raised his head.

Hagane: “And that comes from the guy who calls himself the God of War. Go fuck yourself.”

Gow raised an eyebrow.

Gow: “Wow. And you kiss your mother with that mouth? Oh, right. I forgot. The Demon Slayer Corps only employs orphans… or people with daddy or mommy issues.”

Hagane glared at him.

Gow: “Okay, okay. Let’s get into business.”

Gow crouched down slightly.

Gow: “I heard what you did in the warehouse. Impressive, I must say. But this isn’t duty, is it?”

He leaned closer.

Gow: “This is revenge, right? Am I right?”

Gow glanced toward Kutsuu, hoping for some confirmation.

Kutsuu said nothing.

He simply continued staring at Hagane.

Gow: “Okay, ignore him. I can tell. I often play poker, and I’m pretty good at reading people. So what is it? Do I owe you money? Child support?”

He suddenly looked concerned.

Gow: “God, please tell me you’re not Jessica’s boy!”

Hagane’s anger exploded.

Hagane: “I am the boy who escaped your fucking shithole factory after demons destroyed it seven years ago!”

His voice shook with rage.

Hagane: “You son of a bitch!”

Gow’s expression changed.

He looked relieved.

And confused.

Gow: “Seven years ago…?”

He thought for a moment.

Gow: “Ummmm…”

Nothing.

He didn’t remember.

Gow snapped his fingers.

Gow: “Give me a second!”

The silence was…

Sad.

Gow finally spoke.

Gow: “Oh, don’t look at me like that. I didn’t visit my own factories that much. How am I supposed to remember you?”

He shrugged.

Gow: “There were a lot of people there and stuff.”

Hagane was speechless.

The man he had hated for seven years…

Didn’t even know him.

To Gow, Hagane was nothing.

Just another forgotten worker.

All that anger.

All that hatred.

All those years of revenge.

For someone who never even remembered his name.

Gow looked toward Kutsuu.

Gow: “By the way, Kutsuu… how do you know his name?”

Kutsuu finally spoke.

Kutsuu: “I have a message from Lord Muzan.”

Gow blinked.

Gow: “Hm? At this time?”

He smiled sarcastically.

Gow: “Perfect.”

Kutsuu moved.

Instantly.

He grabbed Gow by the head.

Gow: “Hey! What are you doing?!”

Kutsuu’s grip tightened.

Kutsuu: “Lord Muzan does not need a partner… or a traitor. He isn’t a fool. He knew about your plan to kill him.”

Gow: “What?! What plan?! I don’t know what you’re talking about!”

Kutsuu stared at him.

Kutsuu: “Oh, please. Shut the fuck up. He knows about the secret resource. He knows about the Abyssal Blood.”

Gow’s eyes widened.

He realized.

He was fucked.

Gow: “No… no, no, no. Forgive me—”

CRUSH!

Kutsuu crushed his skull with his bare hand.

Electricity surged through Gow’s head.

His brain was fried instantly.

Kutsuu dropped his corpse.

Blood covered the floor.

Gow’s eye rolled away from his ruined body, while the remains of his burned brain were exposed, steam rising from the corpse.

Hagane stared in horror.

Hagane: “What the hell…?”

Kutsuu slowly turned toward him.

His voice became quieter.

Kutsuu: “So… you survived the fire too…”

Kutsuu reached for his helmet.

He removed it.

And dropped it to the ground.

Hagane’s eyes widened.

He stared at the face beneath the helmet.

Hagane: “…Tetsu?”

Explaining “Blood-Stained Money” Before Last 3 Chapters

(Note: this will be a short summary of the story and pointing out important details, if you wish to go in depth use this link to see all the chapters
https://www.reddit.com/r/KnY\_OC\_Community/s/GpOgdXJWoe )

Chapter 0 — “Fate’s Pity”

We learn Hagane’s childhood and how he ended up working in a weapons factory at only four years old.

There, we meet his parents, his best friend Tetsu, and eventually Kanae.

After demons destroy the factory, Hagane is left alone. A year later, Kanae finds and saves him, becoming something every kid needs a mom.

Author’s Note: I personally suggest reading this chapter.

Chapter 1 — “Old Wounds”

Years later, Hagane is 18 and has become a Hashira.

We also meet Fujiko, Tsubasa, and Kagero.

Hagane discovers that criminals are working with demons, trading humans and supplying them with illegal substances.

Even worse, they’re are the same organization that forced Hagane into child labor.

Author’s Note: This was originally supposed to be the beginning of Blood-Stained Money.

Chapter 2 — “Stained Papers”

We learn more about the criminals’ experiments.

They’re not only selling humans they’re experimenting on them and using modified demon blood to create something similar to a super soldier or weapons.

Hagane’s anger starts becoming more noticeable.

Secret:
A QR code hidden in the chapter leads to files containing information about the victims.

Author’s Note: This is the first chapter with secrets and the first hint toward Unholy Weapons.

Side Chapter — “A Letter from Avian”

This chapter focuses on Tsubasa as she rescues people being held by the criminals.

Before one subject kills himself, he points towards the papers and warms her about something and then kill himself.

The paper reveal that more than 20 subjects have died and 50 more victims have been transported to different locations to be traded with demons.

Chapter 3 — “Fractured Reason”

We see more of Hagane and Kagero’s friendship and meet Kutsuu, Lower Moon One.

The biggest revelation is that Steel Breathing isn’t an established style yet.

The chapter ends with Hagane losing focus and failing to protect a child from getting his hand cut off.

About steel breathing:
Hagane is currently fighting to kill, while the true philosophy of Steel Breathing is:

“Fight to protect.” — Vakh En Tal

Until he realizes that we won’t see true steel breathing.

Chapter 4 — “How Steel Was Forged”

A flashback showing how Kanae raised Hagane and the beliefs she gave him.

Most importantly:

“Be strong enough to be gentle.”

Author’s Note: This chapter is important because it shows the ideals Hagane will eventually struggle against in future. And one more reason…..

Chapter 5 — “Deal with the Devil”

We finally meet Gow, the main villain behind the operation.

Gow makes a deal with Muzan, gaining control over the Lower Moons so they can be used to weaken the Demon Slayer Corps.

Author’s Note: The Gow is gay for Muzan thing is just a meme. 😂 It’s not canon.

Chapter 6 — “Still Wounded”

Fujiko and Shinobu analyze the people Tsubasa rescued and discover that the criminals were using heavily modified demon blood but it was much worse than original.

Hagane joins the discussion and eventually crashes out.

Then a question is asked:

“Why are you here?”

To protect?

Or to kill?

Hagane doesn’t answers and leaves.

Secret:
Another QR code reveals the identity of [REDACTED].

Author’s Note: This chapter introduces more information about the mysterious new blood type, which we will learn the name of.

Chapter 7 — “Set to Strike”

The Demon Slayer Corps prepares to attack the criminal organization and stop the massive human trade.

The Hashira split into different teams and head toward their targets.

Meanwhile, Gow and Kutsuu show just how cruel they are, creating an even greater sense of urgency.

Author’s Note: This is currently the latest chapter.

Who Is [REDACTED]?

[REDACTED] was one of the biggest mysteries in the Reddit .

Eventually, we learn that he is the King in Black and he is also Tetsu, Hagane’s childhood best friend.

And the person responsible with meme videos glitching and system errors.

We still don’t know what happened to Tetsu to make him who he is now. But we will.

What Can We Expect in Chapter 8?

A LOT.

Chapter 8 will contain 16 pieces of art, with the poster being the 17th.

-5 regular artworks
-11 GIFs entirely
-1 Koi Breathing
-1 Avian Breathing
-1 Shadow Breathing
-4 Steel Breathing
-1 Blood Demon Art
-3 fighting/story GIFs

And, of course…

A LOT of lore reveals.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Unused content, info and updates on chapter 8

So first, here are the old posters.

With time, my drawing skills improved, and with that, I decided to redraw the posters. Here are the ones you guys haven’t seen yet: Chapters 8 & 10. (The Chapter 9 poster would have been a major spoiler, which is why it’s not here.)

For Chapter 6, instead of Fujiko, there would have been Gyomei and Kagero. But after integrating Fujiko into the story, I decided to give her the proper chapter she deserved

Chapter 7 was originally supposed to end with Hagane using a jetpack and flying to the location of Chapter 8. The jetpack was also mentioned in some of my older posts, but I ultimately decided against it because I felt like I was going too sci-fi. My story does have sci-fi elements, but I think the jetpack would have been going a little overboard

And finally, about Chapter 8:
I would say it’s around 70% done. Why the delay? Because some moments are going to be animated and shown as GIFs. There will be four Steel Breathing forms shown (still not awakened), as well as three forms from other Hashiras: Shadow, Koi, and Avian Breathing

If you have any other questions feel free to ask

Awaken Steel breathing “soldier”

When steel breathing finally awakens smoke will cover the battle field and soldier will appear following the user, with every swing of the katana will feel like getting shot by a rifle and every punch will feel like a shotgun blast

Fun fact: the soldier can speak but it’s gibberish

u/Apart-Athlete-2029 — 16 days ago

Bingooooooo

I have done one what if au, it was about hagane meeting other versions of himself
But I got more au ideas but I won’t say it because it would be a massive spoiler for my story but I will say some:

  1. “What if Hagane became a demon”

  2. “absolute hell” or “absolute darkness” - what if king in black become more powerful (apocalypse au)

The bingo chart was provided by u/neiot

Blood-stained money Chapter 7: “Set to Strike”

The situation wasn’t getting any better.

Especially after the fight between with hagane, shinobu and fujiko

Tengen over time has gained information that they were preparing for a major trade with the demons.

It was obvious.

It was a trap.

For them.

But if they didn’t move, people would die.

So everyone mobilized and teamed up.

Fujiko was with Giyu.
Tsubasa was with Sanemi.
Rengoku was with Shinobu.
Muichiro was with Gyomei.
Tengen was with Obanai and Mitsuri.
Kagero was with Hagane.

Hagane was preparing his gear.

He already knew where the leader behind all of this was… the man responsible for so many people suffering.

He was still thinking about the question.

Why was he here?

But he couldn’t distract himself with that now.

He put on his armor.

He inserted a new Demonic Booster into his armor and blade.

Kagero came into the room.

Kagero: “Hagane, are you prepared?”

Hagane put his helmet on, hiding his face.

Hagane: “Yes…. I am….”

At Gow’s Hideout

Kutsuu stood in the dimly lit room.

Kutsuu: “He will come… the man in steel…”

Gow: “…Let him come. His armor will become his coffin.”

Kutsuu: “How dramatic.”

He rolled his eyes.

Gow: “We all live once, so live it fullest, wanna do something? Do your best, going to live? Live like a king! And if you want to eat? Eat like it’s your last meal.”

Kutsuu: “At the mention of food, I am a little hungry.”

Gow: “Perfect! There are some people in the basement. My men will take you there.”

The two men looked nervous but nodded.

Kutsuu was ready to follow the two men, but before he could leave—

Gow: “Wait… one more thing.”

Kutsuu stopped and turned toward him.

Gow: “I suggest leaving some for later… you know… in case you get hungry again.”

He said it with a smile.

Kutsuu: “I will consider that, if there isn’t any left…..”

He looked at the men.

Kutsuu: “They will do nicely.”

The men looked at each other.

Fear was written across their faces.

Gow: “He is joking…”

Even if he was joking, Gow didn’t care.

But they still led Kutsuu down to the basement.

Only Gow was left in the room.

Gow: “Freaks of nature, but little more and everything will end soon…… very soon.”

At the Basement

They opened the door.

Inside were dozens of prisoners, hurt, beaten, and thrown away like food meant for a dog.

The moment they saw the demon, everyone knew what it meant.

Everyone started panicking.

Some screamed.

Some cried.

Some tried to hide.

And in the panic, he saw…

A mother and her child.

He moved toward them, grabbed the child’s mother, and bite after bite, he ate her, spilling her blood everywhere.

The little kid only could watch…

Tears falling from his eyes.

Only one plea was screamed over and over.

“Someone please save us.”

To be continued…

Hagane’s First Year as a Demon Slayer/Facts, Part 2

  1. Hagane used to fight with a shotgun and handmade ammunition. His custom rounds were far more powerful than standard ammunition, but they also produced extremely strong recoil so he stopped using it.

  2. Before Hagane abandoned his swordsmithing lessons, Hina noticed that he was becoming darker, quieter, and more isolated. She wanted to speak to him but never did. The next day, Hagane was gone. Mamoru was furious that he had abandoned his training, but he was deeply concerned for Hagane’s safety.

  3. During this period, Hagane killed a human for the first time in his life.

  4. Near the end of his revenge, Hagane discovered the unique properties of demon blood with that he created the first version of the Demonic Booster.

Hagane’s First Year as a Demon Slayer — Facts

  1. Hagane learned about Kanae’s death through a letter while he was training in the Swordsmith Village at the age of 17. Shortly after receiving the news, he abandoned his swordsmith training and joined the Demon Slayer Corps.

  2. His teacher in the Swordsmith Village was Mamoru Sukumori, Hina’s father. Mamoru disliked Hagane from the very beginning because Hagane left his lessons, refused to follow the traditional methods of swordsmithing, and wore a butterfly hairpin. To Mamoru, butterfly ornaments were something meant for girls, not for a man to wear.

  3. During his time in the Swordsmith Village, Hagane saw Hina on several occasions, but the two never spoke. Even so, he quietly thought she was pretty.

  4. While developing the earliest version of Steel Breathing, Hagane experimented with a wide variety of weapons. His original loadout included a standard katana, electric whips, armor, and a double-barrel shotgun. He even considered adding an arm blade.

However, as his fighting style evolved, he abandoned several of these ideas. He stopped using the shotgun because its specialized ammunition had to be handcrafted, making it impractical to produce continuously. He also scrapped the arm blade because if it killed a demon and became covered in blood, it could interfere with the mechanism. In addition, it would have added unnecessary weight to his arm. Ultimately, Hagane realized he was carrying too many weapons and refined his style to focus solely on his katana, electric whips, and armor.
(Note: This was before demonic booster.)

Blood-stained money chapter 6: “still wounded”

It had been days since the assault on the warehouse.

Hagane had become distant, barely speaking to anyone, not even Kagero after he tried reaching out to him.

He had locked himself inside his workshop, repairing his gear while waiting for Shinobu to stabilize Kutsuu’s blood.

Meanwhile, in the laboratory, Shinobu and Fujiko were analyzing blood samples taken from the people Tsubasa had rescued.

With every result, the situation became more disturbing.

The victims had been injected with Muzan’s blood, but it had been altered and modified to such an extent that it wasn’t demon blood anymore.

It was something worse.

Fujiko: “Thank goodness we got to them in time. Who knows what could have happened otherwise.”

Shinobu: “What they were doing to those people… it’s inhuman.”

Fujiko: “It’s odd. It’s nothing like demon blood.”

Shinobu: “This…this new blood kills and heals them at the same time. It’s like their bodies are trying to become demons or something, but the process keeps failing and restarting over and over again.”

Fujiko: “A living corpse… That explains why those subjects were trying to kill themselves to end their suffering ……. Wait… if the blood refuses to let the victims die, does that mean…”

The air suddenly felt colder.

The thought of those people still being alive was horrifying.

Shinobu: “It’s hard to say. The reports stated that all 20  subjects had no pulse and showed no signs of life.”

At that moment, Fujiko felt dizzy and sat down, taking deep breaths. She'd been standing too long, and now she was paying for it.

Shinobu: “Fujiko, are you alright?!”

Fujiko: “I’m fine. I just need a minute.”

Fujiko's response is automatic. She's used to pushing through whatever is triggering her dizziness.

Shinobu: “Do you want some water?”

Fujiko: “Yes, please……and maybe snacks too?”

Shinobu brought her a glass of water and some snacks, then the two took a short break from their work.

Fujiko: “Shinobu, I’ve noticed you’ve been stressed lately. Is it because of Hagane?”

Shinobu was quiet for a moment.

Shinobu: “Yes… Hagane hasn’t really been talking to anyone since the warehouse incident.”

Fujiko: “I heard what happened there…”

Shinobu: “I am worried about him…..he isn’t himself”

Fujiko: “We all are….not even Kagero could speak to him”

Shinobu: “Nor me…..this is taking a large toll on Hagane”

Silence filled the room.

Soon enough, it was broken by the sound of a door opening.

Hagane: “Shinobu, are you finished with the blood sample?”

Shinobu: “Yes. Here it is.”

Fujiko looked the sample.

She didn’t fully understand why Hagane needed it.

He was more of an engineer than a chemist.

Fujiko: “Why do you need that?”

Hagane: “None of your damn business”

Fujiko: “I was just asking.

Hagane: “And I gave your answer.”

Fujiko: “I know you're upset, but taking it out on me or Shinobu isn't okay. You need to find better ways to cope than being hurtful towards the rest of us. And without harming yourself either.”

Hagane  took the blood sample for the demonic booster, not even looking at Fujiko but before he could leave.

Shinobu: “Hagane, we need to talk.”

Hagane stopped.

It was obvious he didn’t want to talk it.

Shinobu: “You’ve been acting closed off and cold toward everyone. You’ve also been far more aggressive during missions… like what happened at the warehouse.”

Hagane: “I know what I did wrong.”

Shinobu: “Do you? Do you really know what you did wrong?”

Hagane looked away.

Shinobu: “Knowing is one thing.”

Hagane: “I get it!!!”

Fujiko: “Hagane listen to her.”

Shinobu: “no you don’t! I understand you’re ang-”

Hagane: “NO, YOU DON’T!!! You don’t understand it!!! Not even a single bit!!! Those motherfuckers took everything from me! They stole my childhood! They made me work in that shithole, forcing me to make weapons! Do you know what that was like?! Working until your hands bled?! Starving every day and only getting a piece of bread if you were lucky?! No! You don’t! Understand it!!!”

Shinobu was taken aback.

For the first time, she saw the rage that had been building inside him.

Fujiko: “Hagane, she was only trying to calm you down.”

Hagane: “Don’t get involved in this! It has nothing to do with you!”

Fujiko: “Nothing to do with me? You really think that? Innocent people’s lives are at stake! Everyone is involved.”

Hagane’s irritation only grew.

Hagane: “That’s not what this is about!”

Fujiko: “Then what is it about?! Why are you standing here yelling at us? Why do you choose to take everything out on the people helping you?”

Hagane: “I am yelling because you're putting your nose where it doesn't belong! So stay out of it!”

Fujiko: “No, you're yelling because you can’t control yourself. You are not the only one who got hurt by them. Just look around, there are *hundreds* of people!”

Hagane: I know!!! I know!! I know!!!”

Fujiko: “Then why do you act like this is only about you?”

Hagane was trying to say something to defend himself but nothing came out only heavy breathing.

Then shinobu asked him a question.

Shinobu: “Why are you here?”

The question was simple.

Shinobu: “Are you here to help the people who are suffering… or are you here for revenge?”

Hagane couldn’t answer.

It was true that he wanted to help people.

But the anger inside was overshadowing that reason.
Once again, the room fell silent.

Colder.

Heavier.

More suffocating than before.

And Hagane…

He simply turned around and left.

Not a word.

Not an answer.

Nothing.

Shinobu sat down trying to not break, trying not to cry at the sight of her brother losing what he stood for.

Fujiko: “He needs some space…..for now…”

Hagane returned to his workshop and installed the new Demonic Booster into his armor.

He looked around the room.

Still angry.

Still full of hate.

Still consumed by rage.

In a burst of fury, he swept everything off the table before slamming his fists into it over and over until his hands began to bleed.

Hagane: “………god damn it”

To be continued….

One last contract with him……
