Running into issues with failed prints releasing from supports

For whatever reason, lately, and on specific parts, I'm getting instances where the print seems to fall away from the supports. Pictures 2 & 3 are the same part that failed twice, picture 4 shows supports. Redid the supports on it at 90 deg angle which sort of worked, but almost looked like a case of the mumps on the support side. Sanded it and it will be mostly hidden, so I'm just going to roll with it.

Picture 1 is the same piece 3 times. 1 out of 3 failed.

Running Mars 5 Ultra. Using Sunlu ABS-like, 0.02mm layers, first 10 layers curing at 40 sec each, remainder at 2 seconds. Almost time to replace FEP. 55,000 release or so. Temp in range of 30-35 degrees in vat according to chitubox heater (which now I leave off other than to check temp) machine showing 45-50. Don't fully understand the difference between the two temps.

I'm on my second bottle of resin now and this is the first time I'm seeing consistent fails. So far things have run very smoothly.

Does anyone have any theories?

Boneheaded move caused failed print - Mars 5 Ultra - Sunlu ABS-Like Resin

So after failing to secure the build plate with the latch, the print was an astounding fail.

A main chunk fell off into the vat so that has been fished out.

Using the rubber spatula, I've ran it along the bottom and felt no resistance or bumps. Will be trying out the Vat Cleaning feature for the first time just to be on the safe side.

After using the feature:

  1. Do people tend to do a full clean?

  2. Just use the spatula to find any bumps instead?

  3. Does anyone have something different they do?

Watched a YouTube video where they used the vat clean feature, then ran the spatula around and fired up the printer again.

Cheers!

Been tinkering with some colours for the beginnings of my old school Ork army while out working at camp (reason for the makeshift painting and photo studio).

Really happy with how he turned out. Working with inks and brighter, more vibrant colours was a challenge, but it gives me that 90s, warm tingly feeling.

A few things that I'll change up going forward, but otherwise, I've got an army to print, build and paint.
