I think it’s no contact permanently now. I’ve always had a tumultuous relationship with my father as an adult due to his abuse, going on and off low/no contact for years. My sister has been no contact with him for a decade now.
My mom refuses to leave, and keeps bringing him back in my life
At a family dinner I got a bit too drunk and confronted him about why he would beat me so much as a kid and he literally called the police on me. Nothing came of it but it’s been a wild week
