I really want to play Half-Life Alyx but I can’t afford a VR headset (like most of humans on earth) but I heard there is a pc port. My question is : Should I play it ?
Bc I’ve read hundreds of times, since I started Half-Life, that if you don’t play it on VR you won’t get the full experience wanted by Valve and that it’s way less good on pc etc.
So it’s why I’m asking y’all.

I have an iPhone 15 and I heard it was good but when I tried I didn’t get very good results so could you give me some advices about that.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved that game even during on the rail or interloper but Nihilanth on the other hand was a mastershit. I didn’t even have an ounce of fun while doing it. First of all I shot him for 20 mins, getting teleported and dying to the gargantua before realizing I had to destroy the crystal. Even then. He kept sending green orbs. I got on the lower ledge to destroy the crystals. Everytime I’d press S I would walk on the trampoline thing and get sent Two km above just to get killed/teleported. On top of that he kept spawning alien slaves and controllers and I’d always die to them. When I finally beat him I was looking at the end game cinematic, when I paused the game. And what a surprise when I realized G-man had stopped talking. So I was forced to load my save (that I did just after he opened his head) and beat him again. And then I beat the game.
Maybe I’m just bad at the game but that’s what I felt.
So yeah I would’ve given Half-life a 10/10 but I’m forced to give it 9/10 just bc of Nihilanth.
I want to crack the game but I heard there was a mothercard ban if you cracked it, at least on the first versions.
I’m abt to buy my first car and I love the Twingo. I don’t have a lot of money and I was wondering for how much I could get a Twingo in good condition. I live in France so there aren’t importations problem or whatever.
