Before everyone starts yelling at me. I loved the Dorofeyev trade. I was a Reid all the way guy but Smits is a really intriguing great pick at 5. My question is: what is our window? We are not ready to seriously compete next year. Honestly, we will need lots of things to break right to even be a fun wild card team. And yet, we traded our pick next year. This retool on the fly stuff is just ridiculous for our situation right now. It semi-worked in 2017 because we had lots to sell but we do not have the assets to accumulate futures/ not enough futures to continue buying after Dorofeyev. IDK. Would love to know when Drury thinks this team is going to compete for the cup.

Hi everyone - pipe dream idea but wanted to gauge interest. Each player in the game comes with multiple players like in real hockey. It can be done as it was in Online Team Play back in older chels. Would give people the opportunity to make different player types for different situations + a more real feel with line changes. Plus the ability to create multiple players. Is there any interest in this idea?
