What is a theory you believe and defend, yet you've never seen anyone else mentioning said theory? (read body text)

For example, I believe in the ShinPoint theory, Showa Mothra magic-boosted RNA memory theory, Starving Mothra theory, Showa Gigan is a weapon originally made to destroy Hedorahs, Showa-Hesiei Fic theory, etc, etc.

It doesn't really have to be a Godzilla theory, like the multi-Alien Rhedosaurus theory. I just really want to hear everyone out!

Minus Zero teaser 2 frame

Where is this plate from?

Seems too small to be from base form Godzilla. I think it might be the resoult of a grown tumour after the thermonuclear attack the US made... that, or it's from another creature that Godzilla infected with G-cells. I don't see why Noriko's cornified skin would be in a boat with scientifical things, why not study them in land?

What do you all think?

Godzilla, I know we don't get along, but I think I might have found out how to use Alien Zarab's Portable Artificial Brain, so, please, read the body text before trying to (human) vaporize me

as you can see, the owner of the sub has totally ran out of theories to make, besides finishing the Great Multiverse Theory / Multiple Godzillas Interpretation / Ultimate Shin Theory / whatever you want to call it. so, she needs your help in making the sub active in order to not be teraformed by the warth of King Ghidorah: The Inactive-Subredit Earter.

if I've counted it correctly, out of all 63 theories within this subreddit, 53 were made by her. so... yeah, I don't think the owner is gonna catch more hidden clues anywhere soon until new media is released.

but there is still a way to save the sub from Ghidorah, it's just needed for you to use the Beta Capsule in order to ultra-think about kaiju media, use the SHIVA super computer calc if you will. (I should make it clear that, here, I'm not refering to AI like ChatGPT or any bs like that. your post will be removed if it contains so and you can get a timeout)

therefore, I, Kong, will be hosting a theory contest.

the winner will be decided by the theory with the most upvotes by the end of this month, the prize will the the subreddit's pfp changing into a meme directly referencing said theory.

to join the contest, you just need to post in here a theory of any kind, a logical theory, a crack theory, etc, etc. as long as it's a good one, it's clear to go as the upvotes rise.

Godzilla, you can still collab with other people to make a better post, like Anguirus, Hatsune Miku, or even Gamera. well, you can even collab with me, if you will.

also, please read the rules of the community before interacting with it.

have fun 💖💯

tierlist of all the Backrooms canons I've interacted with (explanations in body text)

yes, I'm a Kane fan and I still love the wikis. let me enjoy my 7 cakes alread- UHHHHHH.... I forgor t put the original "Backrooms All Endings" canon into there... I'm too lazy to remake the tierlist at this point, that canon will go to 2dn place (triple tie), along Japanese Backrooms Wikidot and Timeless Spaces Wiki (more on that later). simple meme-like format with a very off and eerie atmosphere perfectly done and perfectly mysterious. the lack of known lore makes the fear of the unknown exponentialise and things such as the White Lace Ending are simply perfect. still waiting for Part 6 to this very day-

... wait, actually I think this one wins the true second place... the real position of everything below first place is now it's place+1st

so, moving onto the actual tierlist I posted:

1st (tie)

Backrooms Wikidot

interesting general worldbuilding and lore that slowly reveals itself the more you read the articles, not to talk about the stories and lore of each individual article, which can reach near perfection in some cases. most of the characters are actually well-written and the wiki itself proposes a highter diversity of writing (though it naturally comes with the wiki format). my favourite pages from there are probably both versions of Level 974, and 974.1. I simply don't like it it's going away from the Backrooms' liminality and leaning more into the OC Pantheon. we will not adress the Pantheon.

Kane Pixels (movie spoilers)

good characters (specially Clark), good worldbuilding, good entities, good atmosphere, perfect lore, perfect explanations, perfect everything else, but... the downside is that it all actually makes sense. we know everything about how the Backrooms works and, since Kane's Backrooms are horror Backrooms based on the fear of the unknown, it was kind off a shoot into its own foot. we know that the Complex scans reality like an MRI machine and tries to copy it like if it had dementia, probably a living being, even. it scanned everything around the Threshold when Async made the first contact, and even the Threshold itself, misremembering it as the Null Zones that it uses to scan more stuff from the real world, including human memories. so a hay bacilicus in someone's dead guts mutated with the altered magnetic fields of the Complex' scan thing and mutated into a meat-eating colony that can use humans and still lives as hosts to grow, form a nest around, eat, and then reuse the remains to walk around (likelly why we have in-universe less still lives and more bacteria as the timeline goes on). that's it. Kane's Backrooms are now perfectly explained in a single paragraph. the only way for this canon to continue is to explore new, different areas with other kinds of still lives (not necessarily human). being very predictable. although that I still like this canon a lot. it would be so cool to see Kane put his interpretation of more Kanified wiki levels (like how he did to The End, Level 4, and the Poolrooms), possible even Kanified wiki entities in the future of the canon.

2nd

Backrooms All Endi

2nd

Japanese Backrooms Wikidot

same as the international Wikidot, but more liminal and, arguably, more creative. I personally love the articles listed on its Aestetics Hub. the thing that, imo, makes it worse than regular Wikidot is that it is simply too small, it's like multiple 4Chan posts of the original Backrooms (but way more detailed, longer and better written) with no real exploration of the consept itself. which, imo, would have put this wiki tied with the true 2nd placer if it was made in the same video format and not as a wiki so we could have even more imertion on it. but it doesn't mean that there aren't pages that work as an article, the Stipcore one is a good example for this. some of their articles explore a lot an all that they should have explored, while most are just consepts of a place... well, I love reading consepts of a place, specially when it's liminal places, thing of which this wiki is full of, trully deserving a place within the 2nd spot in the list

Timeless Places

I know, not Backrooms. however, it is so good I could not not talk about. Japanese Backrooms Wiki, same thing, but only consepts of places. bearing the same pros and cons of the wiki previously mentioned.

3rd

Wiki Fandom

first of all, I'm glad the 6 clusters got erased into a single one like the Wikidot Backrooms to keep a trail on the quality of the pages. it did got better since the last time I've visited the wiki. Level !, their Level 399, and the worldbuilding are the elements I like the most (and genuinelly love them) from that canon, despite liking better the others previouslly mentioned. I still don't really like most of Fandom, but it's building its way up

4th

Vaporama's Backrooms

honestly, they're just like the ones on the second place but animated in 3d short films of extremelly hight quality. I just... don't really feel like the creator is actually passing me the atmosphere they wanted to. something is off, but not in a good way. however, there is still a lot of room to get better over time, everyone does, why wouldn't Vaporama too?

5th

both the original 4Chan post that introduced the Backrooms and the original Reddit post that introduced levels past the one in 4Chan are... good consepts... really, they're not a story, a media or anything, they're just consepts that other stories can be based on.

6th

when there was only the Main Nine

it pushed the Backrooms into a "9 circles of Hell" type of thing. not that I don't like it, but all the other multi-level canons that picked up after this one (like Wikidot, Fandom, ect) simply just improve this consept by 30 times. why would the deepest place of "Hell" be just a cave with spiders? why aren't the levels of "Hell" increasingly worse the deeper you go out of reality?

7th

uhhh, Liminal Archives...

where do I start... there... isn't rly where to start, nothing defines this wiki nor makes it stand out of the rest of the bunch. there's... nothing that can be used as an objectivelly good thing to mention in this... at least it's silly, I like it.... the wiki, I like a liiiiiittle

8th

Free Writing

it's freewriting. no quality moderation. most articles suck so bad. sometimes I see a "Level 1987.67 - "The Pizzaria"" and makes me giggle, but that's just it

----------------------------------

if you're an only-Kane fan and are wondering "how tf do you like wikislop?? it's trash, no matter what," then you've never read a wiki. you only asociate "wiki" with "levels," things predominant in yt shorts content farm brainrot. for example, you might be thinking of something like this:

>"a new Backrooms level has just been discovered!! it's Level 3083473422364019288439657632459094137609238, called "The Ultimate True Real Veridict Factual Ending of The Backrooms," the only level with a real exit to the Frontrooms. but be careful, because in this infinite house there lives the Shwimbledingler and he hates yellow shirts, if you have one, he will un-alive you no matter what, by performing "Shwimbledingler's Evil Dance," but if you have a red shirt, he'll show you the exit."

which genuinelly isn't like anything from any wiki (maaaybe there's something like this on the Freewriting Wiki, but that's really just it). this mainly happened in YouTube shorts, TikTok actually was pretty tame in comparation, it's mainstream Backrooms videos were mostly just 3D renders of dreamcore-like liminal spaces (actually pretty similar to Vaporama's works) as the Backrooms

like... are we gonna ignore that the Backrooms was entirelly based on wikis before Kane made FF1?

hot take: (read body text)

in the same way that Kane's Backrooms had the Poolrooms and even FF1 had the Liminal Hotel, I feel that the red hallways would have been a good idea to be explored into, and, instead of the Red City, it was the Complex but red, resembling the Redrooms. some 4-5 seconds in and then Plark is chasing someone in there, leading to a door that opens to quite a long, red, hospital-like hallway (referencing Level !), where someone would have to run from Plark. this scene would have been so cool and would add more to the red-lighted biomes
