Hello, I would like to know how much money (the minimum) is recommended for the dependent visa to be approved? I have enough savings—I suppose—to live a good life for 3 years with my wife in Japan, but I would like to know if anyone knows an approximate amount or if somebody knows any information regarding this topic.

Primero que nada, quisiera aclarar que investigué sobre el tema y me percaté de que hace poco se modificó la ley para contraer matrimonio (no soy abogado, pero también lo consulté con uno). Sin embargo, quisiera preguntar si conocen de algún caso reciente de matrimonio llevado a cabo de forma virtual. Obviamente, entiendo que esto sería un delito(? dentro de las leyes costarricenses, pero esto no quita el hecho de que no sería la primera ni la última vez que se pregunta sobre el tema.

Hago la consulta más que todo por una duda que tengo y saber si conocen a alguien que haya podido celebrar un matrimonio de esta forma recientemente, con el fin de saber si existe algún tipo de flexibilidad o "truco" para celebrar uno.

Hello, I was granted the MEXT scholarship this year and have been living in Japan for three months now. Before coming to Japan, my (now) fiancé and I decided to get engaged since we did not have time for the wedding and everything that it requires back in our country. Therefore, we want to get married in Japan, and I would like to know if anyone has had this experience or if you can offer some insights/recommendations.

Important Information:

• Coming back to my country and getting married there costs more money than bringing her here and doing the process here.
• She will enter Japan with a tourist visa (three months).
• We will get the certificates (in Japanese) stating that we are single at our embassy in Tokyo.
• I have around 20,000$ to support our time here, plus the 144,000円 given each month (but I have to use around 3k for her flights)

Questions:

1. Do we need witnesses at our City Hall? If so, how does that work if I have only known my witnesses for these three months?
2. Does the Immigration Office require a bank statement of my savings?
3. If her dependent visa gets rejected, can we appeal the decision?
4. Since she will enter Japan with a tourist visa, do you recommend me to buy a round trip?
5. I read that once the dependent visa is requested, she gets two more months to wait for the decision. Is this still this way?
6. How is the state of visa approvals in Japan for dependent visas?

I would appreciate any comments or information. She will probably enter Japan during the summer break, so time is ticking.

Hello, I have been learning vocal mixing for some years, but despite the time, I feel like I am not making any progress and have some trouble making songs sound good in terms of the mixing. I work with bought beats on Beatstars and so on, but when I get to work I do not know the flow of what I should be doing.

Should I consolidate vocal takes after EQ and compression? What if there is more than one artist? Should I use vocals buses? How do I route a track to another one without the volumen going up?

The aforementioned things are some of the issues I encounter all the time and that I have my solutions for, but they do not seem to be the most optimal answer / process.

I do not mind paying some cash to get a good course, but I have bought courses and they also include beat creation and things like that and I am focusing on vocal mixing only.

Suggestions?

My Scarlett audio interface tends to make glitching sounds every 10-15 minutes and I do not know whats wrong. I just unplug it and plug it again and that works, but I am tired of doing that when I am recording or talking to people. What Can I do?
