Help! Weird Glitching Sounds

Hello, my Scarlett Focusrite (included in the solo studio bundle) has been acting up (weird glitching audio coming from it) for quite some time. I finally decided to record a video since it happens very often, but given that I am usually busy I just unplug and plug back the interface and problem solved. However, recently it has been happening quite frequently and I am tired of it.

What can I do? How do I fix it? I don’t have another USB to Type C cables around to test if it is the cable, but I want to know if this has happened to anyone before of if the interface is ready to be thrown in the garbage.

Best Vocal Mixing Course?

Hello, I have been learning vocal mixing for some years, but despite the time, I feel like I am not making any progress and have some trouble making songs sound good in terms of the mixing. I work with bought beats on Beatstars and so on, but when I get to work I do not know the flow of what I should be doing.

Should I consolidate vocal takes after EQ and compression? What if there is more than one artist? Should I use vocals buses? How do I route a track to another one without the volumen going up?

The aforementioned things are some of the issues I encounter all the time and that I have my solutions for, but they do not seem to be the most optimal answer / process.

I do not mind paying some cash to get a good course, but I have bought courses and they also include beat creation and things like that and I am focusing on vocal mixing only.

Suggestions?

My Scarlett audio interface tends to make glitching sounds every 10-15 minutes and I do not know whats wrong. I just unplug it and plug it again and that works, but I am tired of doing that when I am recording or talking to people. What Can I do?
