Does he not understand that this goes beyond haters and is actually about the safety of his minor son!? About the safety (or lack thereof) of S as a minor? The blatant signs of exploitation and trafficking happening in his household being put on blast every night? The neglect of his wife and daughter’s health? The fact that he ADMITTED to writing nasty stories about his child!?

Basically what the title says. RCMP have contacted me asking me to provide information about a past partner who is suspected of committing at least one (possibly more) serious crime.

I have been informed that I will be required to provide official statements to police and likely be a witness in the trial if the individual is charged.

The information they are asking would build most of their case. They contacted me based off of previous reports I made against the person. I anticipate that I’ll be subpoenaed in this situation.

There is no legal threat to me whatsoever, but the officer I spoke with seemed concerned for my personal safety which seemed odd to me.

Should I get a lawyer? I guess I’m just not sure if I should consult a lawyer before this becomes a trial built on information I am able to provide.

I’m so frustrated by the wellness check the other day. Whoever made that call, did you mention that there is a minor son in the home? S doesn’t need a wellness check, she’s going to say exactly what her dad has coached her to say, but H is young and he might actually let something slip. It is NOT OKAY that he is banished to his bedroom for 4 hours a day, while he’s also being “homeschooled,” and neglected. The wellness check should have specified that it was for HIM.

I was an OG watcher of Kendall and MHM but took a very long step away. I was pretty surprised to see a snark page on here. Can anyone catch me up?

In the last week or so, we’ve seen more than one time where an individual has used their address, including unit number. How are they not worried? They were way too happy and chill about the “surprise” birthday cake… S even commented that it was delivered by DoorDash and fully sealed as a way of defending them eating it.

Yes, eating food sent by a random person is weird af, but what’s even weirder is that enough people have your address that you’ve had a wellness check called and a mystery cake delivered in one week… in the same week, mind you, that they told the entire internet that H was outside late at night while they were occupied with the live.

They have no survival instincts, no sense of what is and is not safe. I’m terrified for H.

Do yall remember back when S had replied in comments saying her “dad’s friend” bought her clothes? I just saw someone in another thread saying that Paddy the mod bought her a pair of shoes a hot minute ago. Was it Paddy who was buying S clothes???

My hometown newspaper is dying. It used to be a hefty paper for the size of our town, and has dwindled down to 3 pages of mostly obituaries. It breaks my heart, but there’s not much else to be expected from the PostMedia owned paper of a town of 6000 people.

I’m desperate to bring news back to my town. I currently write independently with a relatively large following on the platform I publish on, and have been considering how I can revive my own town in a similar strategy.

I work on the side for an email newsletter as well, writing content, publishing, etc, and was thinking this may be a viable option with a low start up cost. My concern though, is that it won’t reach the seniors in town.

Any ideas for a way I can bring news back to my town independently? I have many ideas, but struggling with the how.

As a community, I’m sure we can make this list extremely long…

Police have contacted me re: my abuser from many years ago. They need help with another matter, however, the original detachment that I reported the DV to chose not to go forward with charges and I couldn’t get an EPO either. Now the detachment that reached out has said they will likely have me give an official statement and has encouraged me to try and pursue charges once again as they feel there is more than enough evidence in my original report.

Should I speak with a lawyer regarding this? I’m only willing to pursue charges at this point if it means it will bring justice for someone else regarding this situation.

I think S’s breaking point is coming rapidly.

The biggest change in behaviour has been the incessant bullying and remarks from P. It’s bad enough to get bullied on the internet for 4 hours a night, but to have your own father doing that to you on the internet, not to mention what is happening offline…

I feel like i can see it in her eyes that she’s about to crack.

I think S’s breaking point is coming rapidly.

The biggest change in behaviour has been the incessant bullying and remarks from P. It’s bad enough to get bullied on the internet for 4 hours a night, but to have your own father doing that to you on the internet, not to mention what is happening offline…

I feel like i can see it in her eyes that she’s about to crack.

I think S’s breaking point is coming rapidly.
