anyone have 2 4GB matching RAM that can go into a cf-30K? if you do have some extra, I really could use, im saving up to buy them but thats gunna be a minute, im holding solid at 4GB bit context windows in gemini are killing me.
I sourced an old Chromebook (hp g6 Education Edition 32Gb) that has two ctype ports and 2 usb 2.0 ports along with headphone jack. After running mr. Chromebox, I got Antix 26 on it an it works swell as full fledged laptop. last month i sourced a Lacie 1TB HDD that runs via usbc to usb c for faster or usb 2.0 for about the same speed. I put Maple Linux on it and set the priority in Bios so ot defaults to Maple Linux or HDD when plugged in and thisis how I have started my linux journey. aside from cords it has all been free. I am quite impressed with myself and nobody cares, like the Lacie “required” windows 7 or 8 i think, I would just like some recognition for getting myself this far, this post is a blatant cry for attention. Sorry to inconvenience you, but ca n i get some engagement? I am an amateur researcher and recovering (sober=2021) fentanyl addicted Canadian (Albertchewan) who is trying to generate data on homelessness, systemic gaps, wasteful spending, carbon footpriint, soci economic stressors and other base poverty level data that can be collected and dissemintated. i have zotero, but could use advice on easy to use research software for Maple Linux (Debian 13) thanks everyone.
