What's changed most about how DCs market themselves in the last 5 years?

Back in the day, chiropractors weren't allowed to market themselves. Just a bold line in the Yellow Pages. No print ads.

Then one day it was allowed, and BAM: full-page ads started popping up everywhere. I have a background in graphic arts, and I was equal parts amazed and aghast at some of what showed up. Eventually the State Association stepped in to help regulate content.

Fast forward to Facebook: I had an ad banned for showing a woman's bare belly. It was for chiropractic care during pregnancy, specifically for back pain. Meanwhile yoga, workout, and athlete ads show midriffs constantly.

The other interesting rule: you can't use the word YOU. "Have YOU been in a car accident?" "Are YOU suffering from headaches?" "Does YOUR knee hurt when you run?" Apparently that's a no-go.

What's the most underrated first step before filing a patent that nobody tells you about?

I've had the distinct pleasure of countless revisions for my first patent - but this was before AI.

How are you integrating AI into your digital strategy to enhance visibility and engagement?

... and how are you getting ahead of your clients' questions about using/not using AI? I'm getting mixed responses from clients based on their feelings about AI, not Google's views.

Are you incorporating EEAT with your clients to rank better in AI

Curious how many of you are treating this as a priority right now vs. still focused on traditional SEO signals. With AI Overviews and chatbot answers pulling more traffic away from clicks, it feels like author bios, credentials, first-hand experience content, and trust signals matter more than ever.

What's actually moving the needle for you? Curious if this is client-fundable yet or still a "nice to have" you're doing on your own time.

What's something you find amazing about second brain?

I tied Claude and Anthropic together, and use it everyday. I've been able to move forward on 2 projects I've let "hang" for the last year.
