Where to start?

For context I’ve never smoked weed or taken any form of Canabis. I know some buddies at work that smoke but I’ve never had the desire to do so myself. Recently though, ive been curious about weed and trying it.

I wanna try getting high but I don’t know where to start. I have a ton of questions and was wondering if you guys could answer some of them for me.

I want to get high but don’t want the smell that comes with it, what’s the best way to get high without the smell?

I know there’s different strains of weed, what would be the best for someone whos never gotten High?

Is a pen the same thing as a cart? Do these things give off that smell?

I live it Canada so this stuffs legal, but what’s the safest way to buy it?

How easy is it to get addicted to weed?

What does getting high feel like?

Sorry if some of these questions or the things i said sound stupid, this stuff is all very new to me.

Thanks in advance for any insights.

Study Abroad Winter Semester 2027

Studying abroad was something I didn't look into until recently. I realized there wont be many times in my life when i can travel to a new country for 4 months in my 20s. I really want to go away for the second semester of next year but have alot of questions.

I've setup an appointment with my advisor to talk more about it but i figured while i wait i would reachout on reddit.

There are multiple different deadline dates on the websites for second semester. I've seen april 30th for DSB students and July 12 for everyone else ig. But also April 1st if you want to do second semester study abroad. Is there any way i can still apply for the study abroad program as a DSB student, even if it means I have limited options?

Is there anyone here who has done a second-semester study abroad? How limited were your options, how competitive was the application process and how was your experience overall?

Thanks in advance for any advice/insights.

Razor Bumps

The right side of my neck is completely covered in bright red razor bumps. I don’t know how to stop it. I’ve gotten bumps before but never this bad. And the thing is I havnt changed what I’ve been doing. I used to shave every 3-4 days. After a month the bumps would get bad so I wouldn’t shave for like a week and my next shave after that there were no bumps. However recently I’ve been shaving almost weekly instead of twice a week and the bumps have gotten worse and never go away. I think it may be because of waiting too long in between shaves and I start to get ingrown hairs. I’m not sure tho. I wet shave, take a shower before to clean the area, use cream and a double edged razor. I’m light with my technique and use an after shave balm when I’m done. I’ve also switched to cold water shaves instead of hot which has helped me get a closer shave.

If anyone has any advice I’d really appreciate it. It feels like I finally found a good routine that shaves the way I want, it’s just I get these razor bumps that ruin the look.

I’d especially appreciate advice on how to treat these right now because it seems like they are not going away no matter how much time I leave in between shaves.

20 Years Old and Never Had a Girlfriend

I don't know why, but I never had a girlfriend in high school. I talked to girls when i was in highschool, but nothing ever came of it. I never made a move to further the relationship each time I was talking to someone. The first two years of Uni, I talked to some girls, but nothing ever came of it either. The problem here is that the girl always approached me; I never approached anyone. So how could i expect to get a girlfriend when i've never even put in the effort?

Its scary to put myself out there and ask someone out. I've never done it before, and the longer i wait, the less experience i have with this stuff compared to everyone else and so the scarier it feels.

I feel like no one around me is in my situation. The friends I have are either already in a relationship, sleep around, or are just like me and don't put themselves out there. I'm not at all trying to shift blame or make excuses. It's just that my friends and I are in different situations. I don't have anyone I can call to go to the bar and meet someone.

I get this whole thing sounds like I'm making excuses (i probably am), but I guess I'm just looking for any advice from anyone who's been in a similar situation. What helped you when you started dating a little later than everyone else? Where did you meet people? How do you get over that fear of asking someone out?

Thanks in advance for any advice/insights.

How did EA find a way to make the games worse each year

NHL 26 might be the worst sports game I've played. I havnt played an NHL since i got a PC in 2023. I used to play this game a ton and especially enjoyed HUT. The games I'm talking about are NHL 18-23. These games were far from perfect, and i know everyone always complained about the ice tilt, but personally i felt MOST of the time, the better player won.

Maybe i just suck now, but it feels like winning is out of my control. I could have 27 shots (alot of high quality chances) and my opponent could have 7 shots with two goals from the high slot and win the game. I feel like I was always skilled enough before that even if someone got lucky, they wouldnt beat me unless they were a better player.

Again, I could just be terrible since i havnt played chel in 3 years, but i still feel like the gameplay is just all over the place, like how do you even score goals in this game? The goalies just save everything it seems. And most goals are just luck.
