NY Road Test Results

My daughter took her road test on 7/3 at 3:15 in Wantagh NY. Upon completion the proctor gave her instructions to view her results. Instructions state results will be available after 6pm on the day of the test. It’s been 2 days and no results are posted.

This is her second road test. First test 6/17 at 3:45. We had the results by 4:30.

It’s ridiculous and unacceptable that results have not been posted. But its the DMV, they can do what they want with it little to no consequences when they mess up.

My guess is the system will update Monday and the lag has something to do with the 4th of July holiday but it’s absolutely ridiculous.

2024 CX90 Phev Premium. No issues to date. 26K miles

I just pulled out of my driveway and was greeted with the engine light on and engine malfunction message.

Of course it is Sunday so the service departments are closed. I have taken great care of this car with oil changes every 5k miles.

The car is driving fine. Nothing feels or sounds different. It’s very hot out today other than that nothing abnormal or new going on.

Any guesses as to what might be going on? I would appreciate any insight, my husband isn’t much of a car guy and hasn’t a clue.

Coed Hospital Rooms

My dear friend is in North Shore University Hospital on Long Island. She’s currently recovering from surgery for a trapped lung. She is weening off a ventilator. During the day she’s able to breathe on her own but at night she needs the ventilator.

She also has two stage 4 bed sores on her tailbone and buttocks that requires daily wound care and frequent turning. Because of where her wounds are it’s hard to keep her back/rear covered.

Today her roommate was transferred out and within hours the hospital placed a male roommate in the room with her.

I’m 51, I’ve been inpatient at least a dozen times. I’ve never seen co-ed rooms. I would think if it was necessary to have co-ed rooms they would choose a patient who wasn’t exposed a good portion of the day.

Is there anything that can be done. My poor friend has been through so much and she is so uncomfortable.
