Not allowed to use the pool on checkout day?
This is the first time I've ever encountered this at a Hilton, and I was a little disappointed. The first two days of our stay were rainy and cold, but on checkout day the weather was beautiful. Around 9:00 AM we went to the front desk and asked if we could use the outdoor pool. (Its a outside pool and requires a wristband), but then told us we couldn't use the pool because it was our checkout day. Has anyone else experienced this before? It seemed a little odd to me. This was at a Hilton DoubleTree.
Edit: to add we also asked if we could checkout and use the pool and was told no. I called hilton and they told me this was something they have never heard of before and credited me 3k points.

The following is a step-by-step guide to maximize your cash back. I figured this workaround after having trouble finding new refcodes for my phone and laptop purchases.
In total, you will receive more than the 5% discount that Samsung refcodes offer.
A. Rakuten (Free $50 if you purchase anything over $50 on samsung)

- Register with a new account.
- Make a purchase of $50 to receive $50 cash bonus (Free $50) + up to 20% cash back. (works on Samsung)
- Rakuten tends to increase cash back up to 20% during holiday seasons. (Valentines Day and boxing day sales are coming up. Get ready!)
- The cash bonus and cash back will be mailed to you as a check or you can payout with paypal or blit and amex points. Tip: if you don't want to wait, you can redeem immediately for gift cards (like amazon) or for points to your AMEX card (Link your AMEX on Rakuten's website).
B. Samsung Reservation Code
Samsung almost always offers a $50 reservation code for new releases. Grab them one month in advance on their website!
Reservation codes can be paired with Rakuten or Samsung discount codes at checkout.
C. Trade In
Samsung's trade in program offers very generous incentives. If you wish to upgrade your product, make sure to take advantage of this program!
*This is only worth it if your product is between 1-3 years old. Any older will mean lower trade in value.
D. Credit Card
Regardless of whether you are using Rakuten or Samsung discount codes, please make your purchase with a credit card. Most cards offer 3%+ cash back for online purchases.
- Chase Freedom offers 5%.
- Bank of America Mastercard is currently offering a bonus 3% cash back. This stacks on top of your other cash backs.
E. Paypal (Ended. Will update when Paypal re-runs program).
If you’re comfortable with the technicalities, use PayPal for your purchase.
Recently, Paypal is currently running a 20% cash back program (up to $200) if you make your purchase over 4 installments. No interest will accrue during this period.
Tip: Open a Paypal account and link your credit card. At Samsung's checkout page, select Paypal and opt for 4 installments. This also works if you choose a monthly payment plan.
F. Samsung Credits (Honorable Mention)
Make sure to share your Samsung refcode! Each can be used up to 10 times. You will receive points depending on the size of your referees' purchases. (Note: points expire after one year).
Points can be redeemed for discounts, generally capped at 10%, when you buy accessories.
