Hi all, I just wanted to create a post here for the successful traders within the community to share there story of trading for those that are not successful yet. So, how long did it take you to become profitable, what was your main issues along the way, how did you overcome them, and anything else you would like to share?
How can I truly beat the mental side of trading. I have a data backed model that is profitable over a 2 year period but I just cannot hack the mental side trading live, I gamble, fomo and take stupid stuff that isn’t following my model. Any advice, YouTube videos or even podcasts?

I’ve being trading over a year and a half now and just recently hit that point over the past month where I feel lost/tired of just constantly losing and losing in trading. I’ve resorted to trying to trade a more basic model instead of something so complicated but I’ve just lost every single bit of motivation within me to backtest and backtest it. My emotions when live trading have fallen aswell, over trading and not being patient. I just don’t know what I even do at this point?

So I've been trading for a year and a half now and failed to find any real success so far. I used to trade Quarterly theory, spent about 8 months on it, but pyscologically it just didn't work for me. I resorted back to more ICT based, and have been backtesting Liquidity sweep + IFVGs. basically what DodgysDD does. Here is some of the data so far, but I just don't really know where to go next? Any help or suggestions would be great + how can I improve my model better/maybe improve the knowledge of how to trade Liquidity Sweep + IFVGs, and video links or suggestions would be great.

After lots of research over the last two days with currently struggling with my trading I want to try and trade by using ICT along with EMAs or VWAP or both. Has anyone traded like this before and how did it go or do you still trade it now? Does anyone know any traders out there that trade this way and are proven and not just out here to get your money.

I have been learning of FearingICT who is a great trader and mentor, but his model just doesn't seem to suit me. Does anyone in here also trade QT and wopuld'nt mind sharing how you trade it or combined QT with something else that helped you?

I know people say don't keep switching stratgies, but I have failed at QT for over 8 months now and have failed to see any promising signs, so I don't know what to do. If I do decide to swicth stratgies, I know all of the ICT concepts and have knowldege based off ICT and Quarterely theory, but could someone just point me in the right direction as I need a fully developed stargy, that I can just backtest and backtest before taking it into live markets. Any help would be great.
