Obd2 reader not reading trouble codes

A couple days ago I got a check engine light so I read them with my obd2 reader. It said there was a misfire and a couple o2 sensor errors. So checked the spark plugs and ignition coils and filled up with better gas. Then I also checked the upper o2 sensor. Unplugged it and tested power. All seemed fine. Plugged back in cleared the codes. All was fine for a week then got check engine light back on today. Tried to check engine codes again and it won’t load them! Does it have something to do with unplugging thre o2 sensor?

Child to Parent Relationship

My parents are still together, never divorced, but have a very strange story and would like some outside input into the matter

My dad married the neighbor girl (my mom) in a small town and bought a house together. They both lived there their whole life. They both worked the same job their whole life. Never left the state. Never took vacation. Never went camping or boating. All they do is work and mow lawn. Now they are both retired and of course got a retirement job. They both currently work at a funeral home picking up dead body’s and do cremations and everything. On top of this they don’t take a pay check, they are just getting a free funeral out of it. They have been doing this for years now. This is all by their own choice! They set it up this way! I meanwhile got married and moved to a different state and would love nothing more then to spend time with them and help them as they grow older. But they want nothing to do with me or to change anything. So what is the best course of action to have family? Moving back to my home town would mean giving up on all my hopes and dreams. How would you guys feel if your parents chose working at a funeral home over spending time with you?
