UPSC is protected. NEET is sacrificed.
A COUNTRY THAT DISTRUSTS ITS DOCTORS STARTS WITH NEET.
UPSC papers rarely leak because the system treats administrative integrity as sacred. NEET leaks repeatedly because medical aspirants are expected to tolerate chaos in silence.
A country that cannot protect the credibility of its medical entrance exam cannot claim to respect its doctors.
Years of sacrifice, brutal competition, sleepless preparation — all reduced to suspicion, cancellations, protests and uncertainty. Doctors and medical students are constantly made to look like participants of a compromised system rather than professionals built through merit.
No other major profession in this country goes through such a repeatedly unstable, litigated and psychologically exhausting entry process at this scale. Yet society still expects doctors to carry unquestioned responsibility, morality and perfection.
You cannot undermine the dignity of medical education for years and then expect the profession to retain the same social respect.
While UPSC cadres become increasingly involved with politics and corruption, OUR PROFESSION SEEMS TO BE MEASURED WITH A MORAL YARDSTICK SAYING SERVICE TO SOCIETY IS GREATEST FORM OF SERVICE.
NOW I KNOW HOW VILLAINS GET CREATED.
