Made a video with all the plants you can spawn in with the console + their spawn IDs, hope it's useful :)

Might be a slight spoiler if you're new to the game.

Most luxurious build I've ever done - The Palace of Decadence - Video link in description

Spent about 70 hours on this one, no mods, no stability hacks, build cost turned off and some console spawning for decorative items.

Walking Printer - building the road through the tunnel

Had quite a lot of fun with this one - wanted a road through the underground tunnel I made before, but it's several km long and I didn't want to do it by hand.

I explain it in the video - https://youtu.be/9tRuU2RPuKg - but for the most part it works using connectors, merge blocks, pistons and 10 timer blocks.

Took a few tries to get it just right, but it's finally working.

Printer maintains connection to main base storage to keep fed with materials.

Tips for better engagement?

Impressions are plateauing - some background and questions:

I've just published my tenth video on youtube, I tend to average about 2-3 videos a month but I'm getting quicker as I learn how to edit better etc.

My videos seem to be quite well appreciated by those who actually see them, but to date my best one has just over 1700 views, and is only 2 and a half minutes long. That's on the shorter side, some go up to 15-20 mins. I'm pleased that I'm getting any views but I'd like to be hitting a lot more. There are other creators in the same niche who see half a million views, so I know the scope is there. I think I'm about halfway to the point where I've had as many watch hours as I've spent making the videos.

I seem to hit a plateau with impressions, and that's where my query comes in: what's the best way to get that a bit higher? Even when I'm seeing a CTR of around 10% on some videos, and rarely below 5%, it seems to get to a point around a few thousand and go "right, that's enough for you". The drop off is always very sudden, a nice climb and then flat out of nowhere.

I do videos of my own constructions within building games, and one of them won the developers monthly build contest, so I know the problem isn't with what I'm filming, so it must be something about how I'm filming it or presenting it?

Admittedly some of the videos are a bit dry, but the same problem occurs with impressions whether I'm talking or if it's a shorter one set to music.

Any ideas? As it is I intend to carry on and just try to keep making improvements to my presentation and editing, hoping one of them takes off in a big way at some point. If that's all there is to it then fair enough, that's the name of the game, but if I'm being stupid and missing something obvious, I'd love to know what it is!

Earth Orbital Delivery System - Video

A video demonstrating the Earth Orbital Delivery System - a space station orbiting Earth, just outside it's gravity. Pods are printed, launched and dropped to Earth, received by a station on the planet's surface. Tested while absolutely loaded with cobalt ingots.

Link to video: https://youtu.be/ixrflHkFtbo

I've been toying around with the concept for a while, the aim was essentially to be able to repeatedly drop pods from orbit to the surface and have them land in the exact same spot. Video is of test number 6, after a correction on test 1, the remainder were successfully on target.

Station was expanded after initial launch from Earth as a cargo rocket.

The Secret Garden

Had a lot of fun making this one, knocked it out in two days. 15k entities, no build cost. No mods used, just a lot of plants spawned with console commands. Stability functioning as normal.

Link to video - https://youtu.be/f5Sy3LLoqas

It's tucked away in the forest, with a path leading in. Garden is in the middle of the base, level with the first floor.

The Secret Garden - Screenshots and video

Fancied building something a little smaller than usual, it's utterly ridiculous but it's the most enjoyable build I've done in a while. Garden is raised up in the centre of the structure.

Made a quick video for it if you want to see more - https://youtu.be/f5Sy3LLoqas

There are no mods used, no stability hacks either! Console was used to spawn most of the plants and build cost was turned off. Finished off at about 15k entities, built in 2 days.

Fully furnished inside.

Sky Harbour - 165 meters tall, no mods used

I've been wanting to play around with breaking the height limit for a while, all done without mods. Console commands have been used.

Video with full details on how it was done: https://youtu.be/MWUWeunzEpg

It's about 50,000 entities and took about a month to make.

It's a twin harbour, one for airships and the other for boats, linked by a 165 meter tall tower with a lighthouse on the very top.

Odin's City - Screenshots and videos. Over a mile long, fully detailed inside and out.

I've built a city in Valheim, it's got dozens of houses and buildings, spread over 6 districts around a bay and up a river, all connected by an unbroken road.

Couldn't work out the best way to show it off so I made three videos for it:

A literal walk-through, walking down the road through the whole city

https://youtu.be/GtIe_Mdw-b8

A flying tour, showcasing some of the best angles from the air

https://youtu.be/1CozObvqN60

A showcase and commentary, digging into the details and explaining what I've done and how.

https://youtu.be/D1Nmt1K5arc

It took about 6 weeks to build, it is running in vanilla excepting for build cost being turned off and a few plants etc spawned in with devcommands. Stability is functioning normally and no mods have been used.

Looking for someone to game with, UK based

Hi, I'm hoping to connect with someone to do a playthrough together. Ideally another builder. I have built some fairly large things but I've never actually played the game all the way through! I'd prefer to play vanilla, although I'm open to increased resource drops and I don't care either way if you want to let metal through portals.

I like a chat while I game, makes it more fun!

Cards on the table - I would like to record the gameplay and make some videos from it. Obviously I would not include anything which would be considered private or personal and I would be happy to share the videos with you before making them public. My channel is tiny at the moment (37 subscribers), probably the happiest setup would be to do this with someone who is in a similar position.

I'm late 30s, enjoy gaming, architecture and learning how things work.

DM for discord if that sounds like your kind of thing.

I'm open to other games in the future but for now I'm really on a valheim kick!

New build guide - all items that can be placed on stands, visuals and spawn IDs

Check out the video here:- https://youtu.be/Nr0yAx5Kyu0

I was getting frustrated trying to remember the codes/looking through spawn lists that include too many other things when decorating my creative builds, so I've made this video to solve the problem.

All the items are shown on a conveyor belt type video, with the codes and names on signs above them. After each section, the codes and names are displayed in raw text for easier reading, in the same order as the items are displayed.

I hope it's useful to someone other than just myself! Please do let me know if I've missed anything off the list, there's bound to be something!

Happy building :)

Video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRCFTCPKZlU

Around 70 hours in the making, 31,000 entities and a computer fan that's never worked so hard in its life.

Fully set out congregation place for vikings, dozens of bedrooms, bars, huge kitchen, multiple guild halls and a temple, all arranged over 9 floors.

Stability is on and the structure relies upon the hillside for its height. No build cost. No mods.

Much more in the video.
