Second session done! Now we wait...

I have posted here before about my healing process after my first laser removal session. Today I went in for my second one and I'm hoping the results are just as good as after the first one.

First slide:

-Top photo is this morning in natural indoor light

-Second photo is 5 minutes post laser treatment in my car

- Last photo is 3 hours later with Aquaphor on them (also natural indoor lighting).

Second slide:

- Before removal (thick, dark grey brows)

- second photo is a few hours after laser treatment

-third photo is the next day

-last photo is 4 weeks post laser removal

Trust the process! Give it at least 6-8 weeks to see a significant difference. My results won't be the same as yours but I hope this helps anyone wanting to take the plunge. I'm glad I did.

▲ 1 r/acne

I'm now just at a loss...

I've had pretty bad hormonal acne for the last year and a half. My skin was perfect practically my whole life and all of a sudden it just changed drastically. I've tried a few things that either irritated my skin or gave me terrible side effects and right now I'm currently on .025% tretinoin and topical clindamycin lotion. It's actually helped a lot but now I'm left with PIE and PIH from past breakouts. Some are pretty indented so they've lightened a bit but I'm not sure if Tret can get rid of it fully. I wanted to add generic azelaic acid but it's on back order and has been for 6+ weeks (per the pharmacist) and the OTC stuff does nothing even after months of using it. My new dermatologist gave me a sample of Winlevi and not only did it cause severe headaches but also gave me two cysts on my jaw! I had the same migraines with spironolactone and it's uncommon but winlevi can still cause headaches/migraines I guess. I'm honestly considering just spending the money for laser treatments to help with scarring/acne marks because I'm so over it. I'm over doing a full face of makeup everyday just to step outside because I'm insecure how my face looks now.
Just wanted to rant a little after having a migraine half of the day today and having to leave work because of it.

Currently watching Season 7

Don't make fun of me for the screenshot lol. I wish I could have seen more of Charlie. He's such a sweetie and I'm shocked more girls weren't exploring with him. Not to mention, look at him. When I heard Zach mention his brother was on LIUSA I knew I needed to go back a season and see what that was about. Seeing him dumped from the island was so crappy. IMO Charlie and Hannah had a pretty good connection even when Pepe came in as a bombshell. Please don't spoil the rest! I'm just butt hurt seeing him voted off. Lowkey gives me Sean getting dumped from the island vibes.

The stages of my removal (so far)...

Top photo: brows before laser. No makeup.

Second photo: 2 hours after first laser treatment.

Third photo: Next day after laser treatment.

Fourth photo: Today (3 weeks post treatment)

Second slide: my naturally thick eyebrows with a close up of the dark grey pigment.

I wish I had gotten a better before photo since it's hard to tell what was microbladed because my brows are thick and I had reshaped them thinner before the actual treatment. I loved my shape but over time I'd gotten them darker and darker until they inevitably turned dark grey. I like a thinner shape but was very limited since I also wanted the "big, bold brow" look when I first got them done 6 years ago.
Second session is in August and I'm hoping to target most of the remaining dark grey. Not sure what laser she used only that she used the lowest setting and will go up with every session.
