Slice of life / comedy / romance recommendations.

This year I’ve been getting back into anime, and recently started reading manga as well.

Some stuff I watched/read that I’ve really liked so far:
- Mob Psycho 100: currently watching it, and it just tickles the right parts of my brain.
- You and I Are Polar Opposites: my first strictly romance anime, surprised by how much I liked it, super cute and relaxing.
- Dandadan: Currently obsessed. I’m a huge fan of the romance dynamic. I liked that it avoids unnecessary drama or dumb misunderstandings (well, not really the case for these last few volumes to those who are up to date in the manga).
- Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto: really funny, made me laugh a lot.
- A Side Character’s Love Story: a really wholesome manga romance, full of green flags and genuinely sweet character interactions.
- Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!: such an amazing anime, insanely creative and full of personality.
- Ping Pong the Animation: though I don’t think it really fits these genres, I’m including it because I love weird and out-there anime like this. Honestly one of the best anime I’ve ever seen. Masaaki Yuasa can do no wrong, the storytelling and art style were incredible.
- The Tatami Galaxy and The Tatami Time Machine Blues: also some of my favorites of all time. Completely frantic and insane in the best way possible, such a fun experience.

Based on that, I’m looking for something with a similar vibe: wholesome, funny, emotionally sincere, and with strong character chemistry. I especially like series that avoid forced drama and let relationships develop naturally. Manga or anime is fine (even live action, I recommend watching The Hot Spot in Netflix)

Thanks in advance!

Got into the hobby at the start of the year.

Got this as a birthday gift, and honestly, it was a pretty dreadful experience. The pieces are way too small, I even snapped a couple and had to glue them back together. Also, I’m never, ever transforming it.

It’s still not completely finished (a few stickers left), but seeing it all come together is incredibly satisfying. It looks amazing. The articulation and level of detail really surprised me, especially coming from someone who’s only built an Entry Grade and an HG before (the MG on the right was already built when I got it).

For now, I’m sticking with HG kits. I still need to get the hang of sanding and properly removing nubs (I made some horrible mistakes in the Zeta, sadly).

At the end of the day, though, I love these silly little robots, I can’t get enough of them. Probably buying a new one this week.

Been over a year since I started collecting CDs seriously. There's some gems, like a local band album, a Gorillaz bootleg and a dirt cheap copy of Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino.
My most prized piece is Metaphorical Music by Nujabes, bought on Tower Records in Shibuya by a friend of a friend for my birthday gift.
How's it going so far?
