You hate Christopher Nolan because he cast a Black woman as Helen of Troy. I hate Chirstopher Nolan because he's a Randian Tory and a hero to filmbros. We are not the same.

[partially lost] Die Hard and Predator Director John McTiernan's Final Film: The Political Prosecutions of Karl Rove

In Brickwall Pictures's video "Why John McTiernan Disappeared for 20 Years & Tracking Down His Lost Documentary" (available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMJlMN4I7n0&t=838s), he discusses the complex political and criminal situation John McTiernan found himself within and how that led to him self-financing and self-distributing the documentary "The Political Prosecutions of Karl Rove." He even says he found the movie through the Wayback Machine and features several clips. However he provides no links, and as this was three years ago, finding the lost McTiernan film has become even more difficult. Does anyone have any ideas or experience looking for this work? John McTiernan is a significant American director and we owe it to ourselves to preserve this, his final film.

Movies like Return to the Blue Lagoon with siblings/family relationships?

I just watched Return to the Blue Lagoon and was fascinated by the whole setup—two kids stranded on an island, growing up together, and eventually falling in love. It mixes survival, innocence, and those complicated sibling/step-family relationships.

I’m curious if there are other films that explore:

Siblings/step-siblings or cousins being stranded/isolated together

Family bonds turning romantic or forbidden

Stories where survival and coming-of-age are tied with family and love
