So for some back ground me and my fiancée are about to move to where his training will be in about a month and a half. But since his training will take about 8 months total and we will be moving across the country and I would like to have our wedding right after he graduates and close to where I’m from because all of my family is there. But we have an issue because his family lives no where near mine and for some culture reasons they’re asking if we can do 2 weddings to make it easier for his side of the family since the original wedding would be more catered to my side of the family. I’m not against the idea of it at all but how am I supposed to plan a wedding around dates that I can’t even commit to because we have no idea what his graduation date is or what he can get off for, let alone for 2 weddings in very different locations. How have any military spouses planned a “last minute” wedding? What should my expectations be?

Also important to mention that either way we will be legally married in a week or 2 but we both just want to have at least a semi-normal wedding.

Any advice would be helpful.

I (21 f) was planning on meeting my 2 friends (both 22 F) at Halloween horror nights in a few months as a seperate but same time type of trip. The plan was we all go with our families separately but we were meeting the night we would do hhn because my family has no interest with that stuff (and didn’t even buy tickets for it) so I was going to stick with my friends so I wouldn’t be alone. But since May they’ve been lowkey ghosting me and I dont know if I should ask about hhn and how I should ask. Obv I also just miss my friends because we were all really close for a year and then all of the sudden after I graduated they just both stopped making any attempts to communicate without any reason why, when we would talk at least every few days and hung out all the time time. Could it be because I’m moving across country in a few months and they thought ending things after graduation (they still have one more year of school) would be best? I will say that we did have a miscommunication a week before graduation but in the end it was due to stress from exams and a big miscommunication which we both apologized for and talked normal for the next few days and then radio silence. It just sucks because we talked about doing things all summer and hhn for so long and now it takes forever to get a response from them and neither of them are making any attempts to start a conversation with me. I also just hope that they didn’t forget we were doing Halloween horror nights because I based when me and my family were going around when they got off and my mom keeps asking me details about when they’re going and etc.

And also important to note is that I asked them both a few months ago if everything was alright and one said yes and me and her have been talking on and off (maybe 2-3 conversations all summer) since then but she doesn’t make any initiations, but to be fair that’s kinda always how me and her have been. And the other friend (the one I was closest with) took a month to reply after I had to ask the other friend if she was ok and after she finally replied she just said her cat was sick and has just been off all summer. Which is like I get it but I don’t get why she couldn’t talk to me for a month+?

Should I try to ask and meet them in person or just be straight forward about things? What do I even say? I would feel horrible if soemthing more deeper has been going on and I’m acting like an a hole wondering why they don’t want to hang out with me.

Me and my fiance will be leaving for his air force missileer training in a few months and we are trying to plan a wedding around when he finishes which would be around mid summer. Either way we will be eloping soon and are just hoping for a summer wedding next year. I understand that our time there will be about 8 months in total with his training being about 6 months of that. And another issue is being across the country from our families and I would prefer to have the ceremony closer to home. Would it be safer to have the ceremony closer to where his training is? We also wouldnt be too upset about not getting an immediate honeymoon. When would we be able to pick a date? What is the usual inbetween period from training to being at our first base? Any advice would be helpful

My male cat (2 yrs old and neutered) from college is terrorizing my 2 female cats (both spayed and 5 & 7 years old) from home. I usually try to bring my male cat home occasionally to get him adjusted to the non apartment life and he’s been fine in the past but every time I’ve brought him home within the past few months he’s been terrorizing all of the pets here. My eldest female cat refuses to leave a certain room and I’m not even sure if she’s leaving the room to use the bathroom. She’s been very difficult every time we’ve gotten new pets but she always ends up adjusting or she just outright ignores their existence. And I’ve been bringing him home every so often since he was a kitten. There are several litter boxes and they all have their own feeding spot with their own food and water. So I dont know what the issue is this time. But the main issue is I’m about to have to move permanently back home so they all need to tolerate each other. Plz help
