No regrets!

I recently went through a buyback for my 2025 Audi S5. No offense to the B10 owners, but Audi still has some serious work to do regarding the software. After all the back-and-forth, I decided to go back to the B9.5 platform and honestly couldn’t be happier. The 2023 Audi RS5 is an absolute blast to drive.

I was skeptical about buying through CarMax, but I’ll give credit where it’s due — the process was smoother than any dealership experience I’ve had in the past. I paid $2,200 to have the car shipped from Texas to Washington State. The sales rep actually refunded the shipping cost because I was picky about a few scratches I noticed on delivery. I took it home, pulled out the buffing pad, and the scratches are gone.

New addition to the family.

2023 Audi RS5_MaxCare (Yes or No)

I know this topic has come up several times, but here I am again looking for advice. I’m about to purchase a 2023 Audi RS5, and MaxCare is being offered at $4,839 for 5 years/60,000 miles with a $50 deductible.

I’ve called several Audi dealerships and spoken with service advisors to get their opinions and experiences with MaxCare. The feedback has been mixed, but one service advisor brought up something I hadn’t previously considered — labor reimbursement rates. He advised me to ask any warranty company whether they reimburse based on the national average labor rate or if they pay the actual dealership labor rate where the vehicle is being serviced.

He explained that this can make a significant difference, especially with Audi dealership shop rates being much higher than average. Even if a repair is “covered,” I could still end up paying the difference in labor costs out of pocket if the warranty company caps reimbursement rates.

2023-2025 B9.5 RS5

I am currently in the market for a 2023-2025 B9.5 RS5. MUST BE BLACK ON BLACK WITH GREY STITCHING! Not interested in any RS5 with red stitching (personal preference). It’s a rare find but I know they are out there 😎
