I'm not done cleaning/reorganizing, but this is the shelf I designed and built with some old wood. Everything in the design was a compromise with the usable wood I had available, maximum space for my helmets and equipment, and the lay out of the room. I still have stuff I need to sort out, organize, and clean when I can, but this is it, so far.
I was given this and an American ammo pouch by a nice lady who I'm working for. I believe it's a Swiss bread bag from 1986, from the stamp and what I found on Google. What do yall think?
I had to take my East German m56/76 off the foam head I had for it because I was told it ruined the liners. Right now it's just sitting by itself. I've also been thinking about designing and building a display shelf for the helmets and other stuff and reorganize. What should I do now? The m56/76 can still be displayed by itself, but what about soft caps? Also what should I do with the extra foam heads I can't use anymore?
It's at least 6.5 inches long, but are the fossils next to it worm burrows or more trilobite pieces? I'm trying to figure out the best way to prep it.
It's not the prettiest Trilobite, but it's HUGE. Will take measurements later to see if I can ID the species
