Vietnamese Coffee Recs

I love vietnamese coffee and it’s the only kind of coffee I drink because it’s actually strong enough to wake me up (I add a shot to mine). I go to 7leaves 3 times a week minimum but I want to try out other places that have good vietnamese coffee.

Please drop some recommendations! It doesn’t need to strictly be a coffee shop as long as it’s good.

Tang Bar - Soft opening at The Shops at Santa Anita (5/19–5/25, 15% off)

Plenty of seating, no wait when I came yesterday. Free RO filtered water + ice bucket, customer restroom inside.

Saw a tang bar worker eating there for lunch, always a good sign. Everything looks fresh. They've got a UV machine for chopsticks, which is kinda cool.

How it works:
Pick your items from the chilled display (veggies, meats, noodles, tofu, etc), choose your mala spice level, and they cook it up for you in a hot pot / tang style. Lots of Sichuan mala options. Comes out fast.

Welcome to r/SoupNFresh

Hi everyone! I made this subreddit to talk all things Soup N Fresh. I'm not affiliated with them at all, just a fan who misses Souplantation and wants to make the Soup N Fresh experience a little easier for everyone.

Why I started this:

  • I'm tired of their vague marketing posts "Grilled cheese and Tomato Bisque is back" or "Mother's Day Surprise" with no real photos
  • I want to know what the seasonal items ACTUALLY look like in the display case before I drive over and wait in line
  • Sometimes you just want to see if that "new seasonal soup" is worth the trip

What this subreddit is for:

  • Wait times – I'll start a pinned thread where people can comment the date, time, location, and how long they waited. This place gets packed and it helps to know what you're walking into.
  • Real photos of seasonal items – Not the marketing shots. The actual food in the restaurant. That's the content we need.
  • Tips and tricks – Best times to go, best items to try, what to skip
  • Souplantation nostalgia – Because we never really moved on

What else would be helpful?

  • Drop your ideas below!

Thanks for joining.
