Hii, my name is Mariah, I also go by Riah and MJ. I live in the US, Midwest specifically. I don't really label myself. When asked about my sexuality I usually just say that I love people. I don't really care about gender; however, I tend to vibe better with women.

A little bit about myself. I am 5'4, plus size and masc presenting (my friends say I'm a sassy stud lol). I wear glasses, have a couple of tattoos and have dreads. Soo basically, I 25f have been talking to this girl 25f(I’ll call her E) for a couple months. I met her on hinge. She is pretty easy to talk to and that’s what i like most about her. When I talk to someone, i prefer to talk on the phone/ft. When we would ft she would only show the top of her head never her full face and it was always dimly lit. I never really pushed her to show me her whole face because I didn’t want her to feel uncomfortable. I mainly am one who prefers a woman with a great personality over someone who is just hot. My attraction to someone gets stronger the more I get to know them. We would talk every night after I get off work. Sometimes sleep on the phone. She is really refreshing to talk to.

After talking for a month I tried to initiate a meeting. She told me that she wanted to get to know me better before we met because she wants to feel safe. I tell her I understand and won’t push. 2 months of talking comes around and she tells me she’s ready to meet. I say I’m down, we plan to go to a movie and dinner.

I don’t drive so she said that she would pick me up since the place we were gonna go to was down the street from my house. 2 hours before the date she asked what I was wearing. I am masculine presenting so I told her I was gonna be semi causal, was gonna wear cargo pants and a nice shirt. I had gotten a hair cut and everything because it was our first time meeting so I wanted to make a good impression. She says okay. Fast forward to her picking me up, I walk to her car and can barely recognize her. She talked and that’s how I knew it was her. I hate to be that person but I partially feel like I was catfished. She looked like the girl in the pictures but like from years ago. I feel like I would have been able to move past that but then I got in the car and saw how she was dressed. She was not dressed like she was going on a date. She wore all black, a zip up hoodie, some leggings and Nike slides. Like it looked like she was just going to the store to get some snacks and then heading back home. After the movie we go get food, and there she shows what she wore under the hoodie. She had a rainbow tank top and she had it to where I could see her breast. She kept doing things that would make me see her cleavage more. After dinner she takes me home and we talk for alittle. I go to get out of the car and she pulled me back in to try to kiss me. I tell her that I don’t think I’m ready for that and get out.

Her personality is amazing, but her appearance is what turned me off. It’s not that she was ugly, but she just doesn’t look like the person I thought I was talking to. And then just how she dressed really gave me the ick. Am I an asshole for not wanting to continue forward?

My main game is valorant but I also play ow, apex, cod and Minecraft. I am NA servers and on pc but most of the games I play are cross platform so I could still play with people on console. Also willing to try new games. I can be shy when first meeting but once I’m comfortable I’m very goofy. I am on medical leave so I am pretty much available all the time. Hello, so I have been injured for 3 months. I got hit by bulk because of my supervisor. My knee has gotten better but my progress is at a standstill (with PT I still don't meet the job demand for my job because of pain). For the first month and a half I was just going to the ups doctor because I figured it would heal if I just had restrictions like sit down duty. But once it hit the 2-month mark I decided I needed to go to a different doctor because the ups clinic wasn't trying to look deeper into the pain I was describing. Went to an Orthopedic surgeon and he gave me a better diagnosis. With a better guided PT plan and another month of restrictions. Which I ended up finally getting put on work comp/leave. Fast forward to today I went back for my check-up. He ordered an mri, so he can get a better idea of what is causing the pain because I am still having alot of pain.

Basically, I just have a few questions about everything thats going on. And I wouldn't mind some advice because I honestly have no idea what I am doing.

I got a letter in the mail, saying that my fmla request had been denied. Which I never requested in the first place. Is that something that I should be worried about?

Is it too late to get a lawyer? I had been told that I should look into getting one when I had first gotten injured, but I didn't listen because like said at first I didn't think I would take this long and it would heal with a restriction.

Does being on work comp mess with me going to school? I have been using the tuition assistance to finish my degree. Will I still be able to use it?

I think that is all the questions I have atm. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
