I recently painted a bunch of butterflies for a shadow box and made some stickers for them.

It took me a while, but I cut out all of the butterflies and tried making paper butterfly specimen shadow box. I hope to do a life sized paper butterfly set in the future! Do you have any suggestions for my next paint subjects? :)

Secret: there were actually 12... but the blue morpho footage got corrupted :')

I painted a bunch of butterflies using gouache. I cut them out from the paper and added them to a deep frame to replicate pinned insect art. I loved them so much, I even made a bunch of stickers :D

I hope to make more size accurate butterfly paintings in the future

The last slide was the first one I painted in this series. I almost gave up on the series when I finished painting the cat in the snow suit. I'm glad I didn't though. I love the others so much :D
