I wish I could love someone as much as old people love my red hair

As a teenage male, my hair is naturally red but not that red, it’s about as standard orange as you could get. I work at a grocery store where a majority of our customers are elderly, and the compliments they give for my hair just make my day every time. One sweet old lady once told me that she loved my color and that her husband was the same, “unfortunately” their kids were blonde however her grandkids ended up redhead, she was awesome. SOME people my age tend to make fun of me for my hair, but I’ve received nothing but love from old grocery shoppers for it. Of course old people love to compliment, but I’ve noticed that they especially love to compliment when it’s about red hair, which I for one am very supportive of

Microsoft teams

Just found Microsoft Teams on the DUG terminal, there’s one ‘general’ DUG channel which looks like just contains DUG department managers from all around. Is anyone else in this lol

My whole life, I have been unable to eat onion, even if a tiny bit is contained

TW/// onion
If even a little onion powder is in the recipe, I can’t eat it. If it’s grilled or fried on a surface that recently cooked onion, I can tell and it will trigger a reaction. Particularly intense gagging, which all onion triggers. All too often I will bite into a burger, only for the detection of hidden chopped onion in the patty to make me spit out whatever I’ve bitten. As such I only eat homemade burgers, hot dogs, and anything else that might contain onion if I don’t pay attention.
I am sure it’s placebo-ic in some way, if I’m eating something without any onion and you tell me it has onion, the same reactions will occur. I don’t like dining out at ‘fine’ restaurants because the prevalence of Onion in many of their dishes. This horrible vegetable has harmed my life as I am forced to live in fear of accidentally biting into it.
Nobody that ‘likes’ Onion likes it enough to where it is integral to their lifestyle. If they are, they deserve punishment anyways. But for people like me and you, such an intense disturbance to our lives is caused that it is only right to halt onion usage altogether.

‘New’ Tiguan!

Hi guys, got my first car today. Tiguan 2013 bought for around $4500 but I am only paying a portion of that. At around 150,000 miles it is definitely used, however I am very confident that the previous owner took great care of the car. A couple small scratches, but nothing hardly visible. As a first time owner, is there anything I should know about maintaining this car at such a high mileage? Thanks!
(Repost because I forgot to blur the plate)

FUCK. FLASH. ORDERS [rant]

I am sick of them and I am sick of how management expects an understaffed department like my stores’ DUG to be able to keep up. In particular, my store has been extremely strict about substitutions, we are required to go all the way to management if we want to substitute ANYTHING for any order. It doesn’t bother me that much when I have time to do so in a normal order, but when orders are so rushed (flash orders), they should realize that you’re making a trade off by letting them be so quick. I guess asking for both high speed and low substitutions is reasonable, but not when the department is barely staffed due to THEIR decisions to cut hours and so forth. What I’m trying to say is that they ask us to do these flash orders quickly& accurately, and get mad at us when one or both of those things aren’t fulfilled because of a problem that they started.

This might have been a bit incohesive I’m sorry but I’m just ticked off by my past few shifts and the amount of flashes we’ve gotten
