I (?)M work in a fairly competitive field. It's not uncommon for people who sit above us in seniority rankings to leave and retire, which often opens up space for us to move up. It was rumored somebody with an ideal position is retiring, so I wanted to throw my hat in the ring. I'm not the only one, my... let's call him opponent (?)M for this job promotion also wanted to make his interest known for the position.

I got there three days early in hopes of getting to meet the higher-ups and schmooze them a little bit, which definitely isn't illegal. My opponent dropped off the face of the earth until the day of the event which I thought was a little rude. I thought I had the promotion completely in the bag, but after the event, they gave my opponent the promotion.

Am I wrong to be a little frustrated?

Looking for a long term, character and story driven rp. Looking for an Iceman (Tom Kazansky) or similar vibe character, to play against a OC (well plotted I promise we can create her together)

So I am putting this out there as a Hail Mary, because I’m mourning a loss of a previous rp with incredible world building and characters. I would love to build that with someone else.

In honor of the TopGun 40TH anniversary I went to see the original in theaters today and it hit me just how incredible of a character iceman really is. I think he was taken from being just an anti hero to a deep thought out character via just one scene.

I am looking for someone to play iceman (or similar vibe oc) in a rp, I am willing to build a character with you to match and play off him well. I think it could be a good thing to give him a potential enemies to lovers with a girl who not only challenges him but works with him and makes him better.

I love world building and talking as friends outside of the rp. Please dm me with any thoughts and please be willing to talk! We can build this up together.

I am a literate to novella role player and respond usually at least once a day if not more depending on the timing. If I can’t I will at least give you a heads up. I expect my writing partner to be able to do the same. I write third person and don’t do self insert at all.
