I start dupixant today and I am terrified of reactions

I start dupixant today,, 2 shots of 300ml in office.

I'm TERRIFIED of new meds,, I've had a few med reactions before so I struggle even taking Advil.

Has anyone had any reactions ? How severe? How long after injection?

Advice is very welcome,, I have no real insight to this med outside of needing it for my severe facial eczema and knowing it's a biologic.

Dupixant box arrived opened

Dupixant arrived yesterday and the Styrofoam box was sealed, howeverrrrrrr

The cardboard prescription box of dupixant was opened inside the inner baggy and I am unsure if it was tampered with or opened due to the shifting of contents given the dry ice was all on one side. Looks like a faulty glue line but I'm so skittish about this stuff.

Any advice? Anyone else have overnight shipments that have the boxes opened ?

// Adding an image,, you can see the pens are ok I think??? Ive never had these so idk lol. But the perferation line below and the glue was loose is where it opened on the bottom

Smart sharp bin

Does anyone that uses dupixant also use the smart sharps bin? Does this device get returned to insurance ever? (I want to put stickers on it which is why I'm asking bc I want to enjoy taking my meds)

Finally prescribed, give me tips

I want to note that I have pretty bad anxiety with medications due to bactrum giving me an allergic reaction before. I struggle to even take Advil. //

I finally got approved for Duplixant, as the self injectable pen. Once every two weeks , for my very severe eczema we thought was psorisis (scabs on my cheeks and ears, eyes swollen on and off, etc. back of scalp has some flake spots. Otherwise I don't have eczama anywhere else on my body and only had it momentarily as a kid. Hydrocortisone does not work outside of swelling management and tacro/triam works but cannot use on eyes.

I've never had an injectable, strong medication like this etc. what do I need to know? What helps? Any severe reactions? How do you cope with taking it long term?

▲ 6 r/POTS

Diagnosed with HyperPOTS

Yayyy

(Not so yay)

Got diagnosed finally after multiple monitors, legs, and an echocardiogram. Shown my resting ranges around 60-70 and my highest standing was 170 (I took trash outside and went up and down my stairs in my apartment once lol)

Prescribed propanalol hcl extended release tablets 60mg and of course 'more salt and water'.

Any advice? What else can I try? I'm doing a propel/lmnt can a day rn for added sodium outside of my regular diet and already do 4-6 bottles of water a day.

What did propanalol feel like? Had it helped anyone else? (Med anxieties due to allergies before keep me scared of meds so it's hard for me to try new ones)

// also waiting on the biopsy yet but 95% sure I have psorisis as well and will need biologics, any fellow pots havers also dealing w this dual body melt down 🫠

Tacrolimus for psorisis on eyelids.

I have psoriasis on both eyelids.

Derm has seen me for it already simply states to keep doing hydrocortisone while waiting for biopsy. It's been over a month of swollen eyes and crusty gunk. I use tacrolimus/triamcinalone usually for the rest of my face but cannot for my eyes. I cannot mix the meds so I'm limited to just hydrocortisone rn. I'm considering an er visit due to my eyes.

Has anyone used tacrolimus/triamcinalone on the eyelid, can I try that even tho the derm refused to state I could.
