I have enough results in to compare the two:

Ems: Ability to appeal seized authentic packages/returns to China 8-14 days shipping time Price point of shipping is usually a little higher then Tax free DELIVERED by usps Usually LA customs first

Tax Free: No appeal of seized packages Shipping rate is is cheaper then Ems Shipping time is 10-18 days Delivered usually by FedEx Goes through multiple customs routes

My conclusion: as of now August 2026 both lines still have very slight issues of seizes or returns. It’s the luck of the draw. EMS you are guaranteed to get your stuff if authentic of course. Tax free no appeal. If you need certain items or last stock items EMS is the choice. If you don’t need them or have no attachment tax free is definitely for you. These lines are for budgeters. BUY I N S U R A N C E for both. Full cost of items and shipping cost.

Hello all. This is probably a good thread to have for some updates regarding ems-60 for USA folks. I was told there are delays in LA customs.

Another issue seems to be packages still getting sent back. Not sure if that’s a declaration value issue or you are shipping too big of hauls for declaration value as well.

I can only speak for myself but currently have a few packages in LA since the 10th with no update. (Normal) However my first experience is they usually show up without any tracking updating til delivery which is odd.

Submitted packages last week of July.

I think this is good information to know while we choose routes for shipping. Has anyone received their packages successfully via ems over the past 15 days or so? I’m seeing some issues of packages getting sent back to China.

Just a few updates for you USA users. We have some movement (customs clearance passed) on 7/2 , 7/3 , 7/6 parcels submitted those days tax free line. Good news. Tax free has had heavy delays since the new regulations took place along with seizures. You are getting a lot of inconsistencies in general.

I am mix bagging it personally. I’m testing out EMS and will be choosy about tax free line. EMS was very reliable for many years personally. My only question is duty charged with EMS?. Ems you have the ability to appeal a seized package assuming you import real goods. Tax free line no appeal.

Hello all, is anyone dealing with seized packages? How is the shipping process going for you? The new regulations passed recently. It’s causing havoc just like in April but seems to be more chaotic. Any issues? I’d just like a survey of what’s going on.

You will probably see more of these posts since many of us are in the same boat. Anyones package get seized held or not received via June 29 shipments?

Tax free route is struggling. Delays and heavy seize rate going on. Keep in mind sugargoo makes zero effort to get your package back with tax free. Need alt route. Anyone using ems ? Duty fees if any? What routes are you guys using. Any reply would be great

Very interesting thing happened. I got suspended from stockx because I complained and used the words “bullshit and fuck” in the chat. I was very unhappy the way they were treating my Situation and I have every right to be frustrated. I purchased a pair of shoes . Never received them. Stockx and third party shipper “lost” them. I have yet to be refunded. Why am I paying a processing fee and $15 for the worst possible service and shipping service. Chat messages seemed half AI/India representative. Never the less. Piss poor service by stock x. No shoes. No refund. No credit. Suspended account.

Hello all, just conducting a survey or asking a few questions based upon your experiences. Is anyone dealing with delays with tax free line? If so when did you send out your parcels? I have 3 stuck since 6/16. In customs since July 1. “Inspection”

Anybody with experience using EMS In 2026? Did you get charged duty?

For tax free line: you can’t appeal seizure because you don’t get the China tracking. For EMS You can appeal since you get the China tracking to USA assuming you are importing authentic items.

Packages were seized by customs on May 5-7 if you submitted tax free line. Hey sugargoo please give us the Chinese tracking numbers so we can call customs since your logistics team won’t. Someone messed up and screwed many of us that use your service. It’s unacceptable and bad service.

Hi, have a few issues with some packages. Possible barcode issue. My shipper is from China. Obviously that could be an issue. My packages are only an hour away which is frustrating. They have been stuck at facility for 3 days no movement hence thinking of possible barcode issue. Tracking is still updating saying it’s in local facility.

How can I get help on this? I called yesterday and the guy called the local facility and next day barcode replacement scan was detected. (cS was not from India for once) my last 4 calls are going thereand are 100% useless. Any trick of getting someone from the USA?

I don’t want my packages sitting with FedEx for weeks. Thank you for any tips.
