I'm doing a found footage film that has night scenes lit entirely by streetlight. What is an affordable MinDV camera that's good for low light? I've heard about the Sony DCR-VX2100, but I'm not sure i want to pay $500 for a minidv camcorder.

I saw someone use it but I have no idea how to get it

All the cafes seem to close by 6pm so I have nowhere to go to write or read in a chill place. Is there a bar or somewhere that is open late with a relaxed atmosphere, preferably with an outdoor patio?
