Up Close With an Airbus A380 at Manchester Airport (MAN), UK

I filmed this Emirates a380 from its final approach to landing on 23R at Manchester Airport (UK), then the full Taxiway Alpha route past where I am standing which is only circa 20-25 metres between the fence and the taxiway. The video also includes a European Air Charter take off, a Baltic Air Takeoff and a Ryanair taxiing.

This was filmed from Runway Visitor Park (RVP), its free entry, but you just have to pay for parking (unless you want to tour inside planes like Concorde aka Alpha Charlie / G-BOAC in the Hangar).

RAF Westland Sea King XZ588 at RIAT25 (Ground and Airborne - That Engine Sound!)

I went to RIAT25 and had almost front row seats in the aptly named 'First Class Lounge'. I saw this RAF Search and Rescue Sea King Airborne, that engine sound!

Airborne video: RAF Sea King Helicopter Turns Heads (and Rotors) — Sound Up!

RAF Westland Sea King HAR.3

Last Military Serial: XZ588

Built: 1977 and delivered in 1978

Used for RAF Search and Rescue until July 2015

Construction Number: WA0854

Civil Registration: G-SEAK (by Historic Helicopters in August 2020)

Photo and video by AspieTravels

A nostalgic reminder of the yellow Sea Kings that were once such a familiar part of RAF Search and Rescue.

RIAT26 was unfortunately cancelled.

DVR Studio not responding

V21.02 Build 4

I’ve updated Nvidia Studio Drivers but whenever I try to import 4K clips or drag and drop onto timeline, it freezes my system. I have to shut it down and reopen resolve then try again. It brings one clip in then the next starts the freezing sequence again?

System:
Windows 11 Pro
RogStrix Z890-F
Intel Core Ultra 9 285K
64GB RAM
16 GB 5080 GPU

Any ideas or if others having issues, how to fix it?

I stayed at BnA Wall Tokyo, a quirky design-led hotel in Nihonbashi

Tokyo has no shortage of one-of-a-kind hotels that you would probably never find in the west or Europe. However, the BnA Wall Tokyo stands out for its bold art-led rooms, overtly creative atmosphere, and location in Nihonbashi/Ginza.

It felt more like being part of the artwork, and far more unique than a standard branded city hotel, with enough personality to make it worth writing about. If you're heading to Tokyo on a Japan trip and looking for something unique and memorable to talk about. Here is my take from it.

Channel Islands Military Museum and the German Occupation of Jersey

I visited the Channel Islands Military Museum inside an original German Jäger Casemate bunker at St Ouen’s in Jersey, a private collection open to the public containing genuine WW2 artefacts from the 1940-45 occupation, when the Channel Islands became the only British territory occupied by Nazi Germany during WW2. The post includes a video walkthrough of this semi-subterranean tardis like structure.
